ROYAL WULFF was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over 1450m on this course. He has finished third twice from as many starts over this distance. The son of Crusade faces his toughest test to date, but he is in a good space and should be up to the task at hand.

REUNION showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 1800m at the Vaal. He should have won that day as he hung badly in the closing stages. It must be noted that there have been multiple winners from that form line. The son of Flower Alley should love the step up to the 2000m and if putting his mind on the task at hand, he should win.
