NAVAL GUARD was unlucky in the Grade 3 Jubilee Stakes last time as he was carried outwards in the final 100m. He has won three times and finished third once from as many starts on this course. The son of Elusive Fort is classy and with just 50kgs on his back, he should take a power of beating.

SMORGASBORD has very good consistent form lines to his credit. He stayed on nicely at the finish when third in the Grade 1 Golden Horse Sprint last time. With a bit of luck in running, she should give the males a run for their money
