Race 8: FANTASTICAL (1)

Jockey: Khumalo S - Trainer: Laird A 

FANTASTICAL won on debut with ease over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Futura should have no issues with the step up to the mile. She takes on stronger today, but could be anything and may be up to the task at hand.

FSQUADRON was ultra-impressive when winning his maiden over 2000m on the Turffontein Inside course. The manner in which he drew away from the rest of the field in the closing stages caught the eye. The son of Master Of My Fate makes his handicap debut today, but he is lightly raced and looks to have scope. Piere Strydom takes the ride which is a big plus
