SPRINKLES is one of the better bets on today’s card. She produced a promising debut effort over 1160m at Turffontein. She showed good pace, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Imbewu. The daughter of Elusive Fort found betting support that day which suggests that she had been showing good work back at home. She would have come on with the run under her belt and in this type of field, she should take a power of beating.

VASEEM won a very good race in his last start over 1160m at Turffontein. He showed good speed and found extra where it matters most. The son of Vercingetorix won his only attempt over this C&D. Gavin Lerena takes the ride and he can follow up.

Jockey: Danielson R – Trainer: Houdalakis M

MONEY FIGHTER finished 2 lengths behind PUTINS PROMISE last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He carries a handy galloping mass of 54.5kgs this afternoon and can return to winning ways.

LIGHT WARRIOR ran a decent race when finishing second in his last start over 1700m on this course. He stayed on nicely at the finish, but found one too good in the form of Grimaldi. He gets the services of Mark Khan who may be able to coax that little extra out of him where it matters most
