Amazulu 56/10 Draw 2.95/1 Mamelodi Sundowns 0.47/1
Amazulu started the season in poor shape but 3 wins in the last 4 have seen them move off the foot of the standings and up to thirteenth. Two of those wins came in home games, against Chippa (2-0) and Royal AM (2-1) and theeir only other points this season came in a 3-1 win against Richards Bay.
Downs are back on top of the standings with a record of 8 wins and 1 defeat, scoring 19 goals and conceding just 4. That puts them 3 points clear of Pirates who have a game in hand. Their only defeat came at Polokwane, 1-0 in late October and they have kept clean sheets in each of their last 4 Betway Premiership wins.
The Verdict:
Miguel Cardoso has made a solid start to his role as coach of Sundowns and although Amazulu are in good shape, it's hard to look past the visitors who I'm siding with to win with a clean sheet.
Bets: Which teams to score? Only Sundowns at 12/10 with Betway
Orlando Pirates 3/10 Draw 27/10 Marumo Gallants 10/1
This is Pirates first league game since 1st December when they lost their 100% record in a 1-0 home defeat to Stellenbosch. They won their first 7 league games and on the goals front they have scored and conceded just 3.
Gallants have a record of 3 wins, 1 draw and 5 defeats with 8 goals scored and 12 conceded. Away from home they have won 1 and lost 4 and they have scored just twice on their travels.
The Verdict:
Gallants have generally been poor travellers and I fancy the Bucs will want to send the faithful into Xmas with maximum points but the margin of victory could be narrow.
Bets: Winning margin, Orlando Pirates by 1 goal at 2.55/1 with Betway
