OrlandoPiratesOur featured DSTV Premiership match taking place on Saturday 28th November sees unbeaten Orlando Pirates host Baroka FC

Orlando Pirates

After 4 rounds of league matches Pirates are unbeaten with 2 wins and 2 draws against their name and they are 3 points off the pace being set by Swallows and 2 shy of Sundowns. They started with a 1-1 draw away to Amazulu and then played out another 1-1 draw at home to Stellenbosch. The Bucs scored first in both of those matches only to be pegged back by half time. Their first win came against Bloem Celtic, 1-0 away from home and they followed up last weekend with a 2-1 home win over Supersport.

A solid start to the league campaign has been supplemented by progress to the MTN8 final. Pirates first beat Cape Town City 1-0 in Orlando and then won both legs of the semi final against Kaizer Chiefs, 3-0 and 2-0. Pirates will take on Celtic in the final next month.

Baroka FC

Baroka are just 1 point behind Pirates although the tale of their season so far is very different. They began with back to back win, 2-1 at home to Mariztburg and 3-1 away at Black Leopards, 2 sides who started the season badly. Since then Baroka played out a 1-1 draw at home to Golden Arrows and most recently they tasted defeat for the first time, going down 1-0 at Tshakhuma.

Recent Head to Head

The first league meeting last season ended in a 2-2 draw and the return in Orlando also finished all square at 1-1.

Six of eight league meetings have ended in a draw with the Bucs winning the other two.

The Betting

In the early betting Pirates can be backed at around 13/20 to win the game, the draw is trading at around 9/4 and Baroka FC are trading at around 47/10

A game of 3 goals or more is priced at 16/10 and it's 15/10 for both teams to score.

Verdict:

Pirates look to be improving and whilst Baroka's form is solid enough I fancy the favourites to justify the short price tag. For a betting interest I'm going with the

Bucs to find the net at least twice.

Bet: Home team total goals, over 1.5 at 23/20
