KaizerChiefsKaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates both have DSTV Premiership home fixtures on Tuesday night when the Amakhosi host Baroka and the Bucs take on TS Galaxy.

Chiefs 15/20 Draw 41/20 Baroka 3.87/1

Chiefs 3 match winning streak in the DSTV Premiership ended at the weekend when they played out a 0-0 draw at Stellenbosch. They come into the midweek program in seventh place and in considerably better shape than they were a few weeks ago. Victory here would see them move into the top 6, their highest position this season and the Amakhosi have conceded just once in their last 4 league matches.

Baroka are 3 places and 2 points behind Chiefs and they have taken just 4 points from their last 7 league games. They did succeed where Chiefs failed in winning 3-2 at Stellenbosch recently but there has been little else to shout about of late even though their away record shows 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.

Last season Chiefs won this fixture 1-0 and the return finished all square at 1-1.

Chiefs may have fired blanks at Stellenbosch but there were still chances created and they are taken to take another step in the right direction.

Bet: Chiefs to win at 15/20

Orlando Pirates 0.77/1 Draw 2/1 TS Galaxy 4/1

Pirates were 1-0 winners at Maritzburg last weekend and they are now in fifth place, 1 point adrift of Cape Town City and 6 points off the pace being set by Sundowns, Supersport and Swallows. The Bucs have yet to lose a league game in Orlando this season but 4 of those 6 DSTV Premiership home matches have finished all square. With a derby date with Chiefs to come at the weekend this is a big week for Pirates in terms of putting themselves in contention for a tilt at the title.

TS Galaxy were not in action at the weekend but they did end a miserable sequence of results a week ago when they won 3-0 at Maritzburg. That win, a first for 9 matches, lifted Galaxy off the bottom of the standings and they now have 2 points worth of daylight over the 3 teams below them.

That was a much needed win for Galaxy last week but this a tough test with Pirates looking to make up ground on the front runners in the title race. The Bucs home record is littered with draws but I fancy they will claim maximum points here.

Bet: Pirates to win at 0.77/1
