Weather Forecast – Melbourne
Moana Pasifika:
Moana Pasfika went down 45-12 to the Chiefs in Hamilton last time out, scoring 2 tries, conceding 6 and they failed to stay with the handicap which was in the region of 28.5 points.
Their only win so far came in the first meeting with the Hurricanes, a huge upset with a “golden try” sealing victory after the scores were tied up at 19-19. Since then they lost back to back games against the Blues, went down to the Highlanders and they were thrashed in the return with the Canes but they now face Australian opposition for the first time.
Moana remain on just 4 log points and they are bottom of the standings with 1 win and 7 defeats against their name.
Force:
The early betting suggested last week's clash between the Force and the Tahs in Perth would be a close call but the Force, who ere understrength were never in it and eventually went down 41-24.
Earlier the Force had been involved in some real nail-biters, losing 22-21 to the Reds, they also lost to the Brumbies by a single point (39-38) and they edged out Fijian Drua (20-18)
The Force finished Round 9 with a record of 2 wins and 6 defeats and they have 13 log points.
