The first of the Uefa Champions League quarter finals sees surprise package Atalanta take on PSG in Lisbon on Wednesday night
It's knockout football from here onwards with all the remaining matches to be played in neutral Portugal and they will be settled on the night.
Let's recap on how these teams fared earlier in the competition and in their domestic leagues.
Atalanta
Atalanta lost their first 3 group matches, conceding 11 goals in the process but 2 wins and 1 draw from the next 3 saw them finish as runners up to Manchester City with Shakhtar third and Dynamo Zagreb fourth. They took control of their Round of 16 match up with Valencia with a 4-1 home win and then won in Spain 4-3. Of their 8 matches in this competition 6 have delivered for backers of over 2.5 goals, 4 went over 3.5 goals and 5 saw both teams find the net.
In Serie A Atalanta finished in third place, just 5 points behind Juventus and 4 shy of Inter and they were league's top scorers with an impressive tally of 98.
PSG
PSG breezed through the group stage with 5 wins and 1 draw to top the quartet ahead of Real Madrid with Club Brugge and Galatasaray third and fourth. They lost the first leg of their Round of 16 clash with Dortmund 2-1 away from home but turned things around with a 2-0 win in Paris.
The Ligue 1 season never returned from lockdown when PSG were 12 points clear of Marseille. PSG returned to competitive action in June and won the domestic cup, beating Lyon on penalty kicks after a rare 0-0 draw.
The Betting
Atalanta can be backed at around 5/2 to win in 90 minutes with the draw available at 57/20 and you should find odds of even money or so for PSG to win in regulation time.
As far as the goals markets are concerned it's 9/20 for both sides to find the net in 90 minutes and a game of 3 goals or more in total is 5/10.
Verdict:
PSG might still be a bit rusty after a long break but those recent domestic cup ties will hopefully of blown away a few of the cobwebs and they get the vote to end Atalanta's dream run in this competition.
Bets: PSG to win 90 minutes at even money
