Matchday 6 sees Uefa Champions League Groups E to H conclude on Tuesday and we take a look at some of the key clashes including RB Leipzig v Manchester United where we are looking for goals.
Group E
Chelsea and Sevilla are already assured of qualification from this group and Chelsea's 4-0 win over the Spanish side on Matchday 5 rubber stamped top spot. Chelsea host third place Krasnodar and Sevilla head to Rennes and with a dead rubber feel to both matches a betting interest is swerved.
Group F
Dortmund will finish in the top 2 of this group and they should probably get the result they need away at out of contention Zenit to secure pole position. The Bundesliga side can currently be backed at 8/10.
Lazio are currently second with 9 points and they host Club Brugge who are third with 7 points. Lazio are 15/20 to win the game whilst Brugge, who need to pull off an upset win to claim a place in the knockout rounds, are a 7/2 chance. Of 5 earlier group matches involving Lazio both teams to score? (Yes) has been the way to go whilst 4 of 5 Brugge matches have seen backers of over 2.5 goals collect.
I see goals again and will chance my arm with 3 or more in total with both sides on target.
Bet: Dortmund to win at 8/10
Lazio v Brugge both teams to score and over 2.5 total goals at even money
Group G
Barcelona and Juve will qualify from this group and when the teams meet at Camp Nou Juve need a wide margin win to finish top. Barca won 2-0 when the teams met in Turin but their overall form is erratic and I won't be getting involved.
Kyiv and Ferencvaros both have just 1 point against their name as they battle it out for third place and a Europa League spot. Kyiv are favourites at 17/20 but my thinking is that there might not be much between these sides and both teams to score (yes) might be the way to go here.
Bets:: Kyiv v Ferencvaros, both teams to score? (yes) at 15/20
Group H
Manchester United, PSG and Leipzig all have 9 points and Basaksehir will finish bottom with 3 points.
With the above in mind you have to think PSG will put Basaksehir away in Paris to claim one of the qualification spots which makes Leipzig v Man Utd a virtual eliminator.
United have the advantage as they beat Leipzig 5-0 at Old Trafford on Matchday 2 and a draw will see them through.
Leipzig have won both their home games, 2-0 against Basaksehir and 2-1 against PSG. United won 2-1 in Paris but shot themselves in the foot with a 2-1 defeat at Basaksehir on Matchday 3. The defeat in Turkey aside the English club have been a much better side when travelling this season and this promises to be some game.
The match result betting currently has Leipzig at 16/10, the draw at 11/4 and United are 31/20. I think this game is as tricky to call as those odds suggest but I see scope for plenty of goals and 4 or more in total is my pick.
Bets: RB Leipzig v Man United over 3.5 total goals at 27/20
