Many of the long established pairs changed, or even the established ones were losing to newly formed doubles, the results were quite random.
I used to be very confident following them, but after a long series of losses I gave up.
Rarely do I still follow some of them.
The women's had a few reliable ones...

Simon is in great form. He has just finished as runner-up in Lyon, losing to Thiem in the final.
At the French Open he has a very good record, having reached at least the third round on 7 out of the last 8 occasions.
Querrey hasn't done too well at the French Open before, and his clay court form this season is poor.

Yeah I know where you're coming from, it can all turn on its head in terms of form etc pretty quickly but lately I've had some success and found the top pairs have been pretty reliable in general. May have got too involved with them here, already all 3 short priced mens favourites that I included gone to third sets, hopefully will come through

Yeah I know where you're coming from, it can all turn on its head in terms of form etc pretty quickly but lately I've had some success and found the top pairs have been pretty reliable in general. May have got too involved with them here, already all 3 short priced mens favourites that I included gone to third sets, hopefully will come through
And right on cue, got a number of doubles wrong
. Some in play bets limited damage but all in all a poor day and probably tried to do too muchToday:

Thiem is in great form. In the preparation for this major, he won in Madrid and Lyon.
For Berrettini this is already stratospheric, Thiem should prove too much for someone who is not accustomed to playing at this level.
