Melbourne Victory vs Brisbane Roar

Both teams have been quite inconsistent this season.

However, right now Victory are 5th on the ladder, inside the play-off spots, and are trying to improve their position hoping for home finals.

Roar are just outside the play-off spots, and they need to start getting their wins if they are to climb up into the top 6.

Both teams have good attacking lines, however Brisbane's defence is quite porous.

Bet 1: Melbourne Over 1.75 goals @1.78 Pinnacle

Bet 2: BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1.90 bet365

Bet 3: Melbourne over 2.5 goals @2.75 bet365

EPL Saturday preview
Stoke v Brighton + Hove Albion
Home 12/10 Draw 22/10 Away 27/10
Stoke at home are 5-3-5 (15-20) and Brighton away are 2-3-8 (6-16). The reverse fixture in November finished 2-2. Brighton have scored in only 4 of their 13 away matches. The match has been correctly priced and few goals are expected ie BTTS No @ 7/10 and Match goals under 2.5 @ 6/10. My view on matches like this is to go with the low goals but find a bet with much better odds which does not need many goals - something like
Stoke minus 1 the draw @ 26/10

Swansea v Burnley
Home 15/10 Draw 2/1 Away 23/10
Swansea at home are 4-2-7 (10-18) and Burnley away are 4-6-3 (12-13). The reverse fixture in November was won 2-0 by Burnley. This fixture is also correctly priced with a low goals expectation ie Match goals under 2.5 @ 5/10. Burnley have been stubborn on the road with only 3 defeats in 13 but Swansea under new manager Carvalhal have won their last two home matches 3-1 against Arsenal and 1-0 against Liverpool. This leads me to believe that Swansea will get something out of the match but, once again with the low goals expectations I am going to ask my lucky coin to decide between two bets with much higher odds 1-1 @ 5/1 and HT/FT Draw/Swansea @ 9/2. AND THE WINNER IS
HT/FT Draw/Swansea @ 9/2

( Feel free to use your own coin as mine has been a little dodgy of late  )

Melbourne City vs Sydney FC

Sydney are by far the best team in the league.
City are currently in very good form, having gone 6 matches undefeated.

After the departure of McCormack they found other ways to score goals.

Both teams are at full strength.
OK, Fornaroli has been out all season for City, so no impact there, as the coach found other solutions.

City have the capability to put problems to Sydney, and we'll see if the league leaders find a way to win again.

Sydney players have a way of obtaining fouls and irritate the opposition.

Given the attacking options on both sides, I'll go for goals and corners, as well as cards.

Bet 1: over 2.5 goals @1.90
Bet 2: over 10.5 corners @1.88
Bet 3: over 4.5 cards @2.00

I'm looking at opposing the Copa Del Rey semi-finalists here. While all four are at home this weekend, they have been involved in midweek games for the past two weeks. Hopefully the opposition can capitalise on those tired legs.

While Leganes are pretty solid at home, Eibar come into this game not having lost in the last 4 games on the road. After dismantling Sevilla last weekend, I expect the away team to come into this game with confidence pretty high, so I'm going for Eibar DNB at 7/8.

Things just haven't been going Sevilla's way in the league recently. And having last tasted victory on home soil during the 1st weekend of December, I expect Girona to take full advantage. The away team on DC at 7/10 appeals.

While it might be folly going against the might of Barcelona at home, Getafe have not conceded more than 2 goals during this season and only once have they lost by 2+ goals all season. Therefore I feel a nibble at Getafe +3 at 7/8 is the way to go.

Valencia started the season like a house on fire, but they have simply gone off the boil in recent weeks. While Levante might not be the type of gang to trust with your hard-earned cash, they've managed to take points of Real Madrid twice already this season, the recent one being last weekend. Having also held high-flying Los Che to a draw earlier in the season, Levante +1 at 29/20 looks tasty enough for me.

WS Wanderers vs Wellington Phoenix

Phoenix are welcoming back Kaludjerovic, who will pair with Krishna to give Phoenix some impact in attack.

Both teams have very porous defences, however the Wanderers will go for the win to push for a play-off spot.

Bet 1: over 2.75 goals @1.81 Pinnacle
Bet 2: BTTS and over 2.5 goals @1.90 bet365
Bet 3: Team total WSW over 1.5 goals @1.79 Pinnacle

I anticipate Newcastle to employ a similar tactic as with City, having 11 players behind the ball in their own half. Expecting a tight 1st half, Man with the odd goal or 2 later in the second half. HT/FT Draw/Man U @ 3.25
