Burnley v Brighton + Hove Albion
Home 12/10 Draw 21/10 Away 28/10
Burnley at home are 7-4-6 (15-15) and Brighton away are 2-4-10 (9-22). The reverse fixture in December finished 0-0. With Southampton's defeat in the FA Cup semi's Burnley will get a Europa League slot for finishing 7th. They need 4 points from their last 3 games to guarantee this. Brighton are on 36 points and 1 more should guarantee safety. This means we have a competitive game on our hands ie no player planning his holidays just yet .Brighton's remaining 3 matches after this are ManU/ManC/Liverpool. They desperately need that point from this match. The circumstances point to a very close match and the draw has to be in play but I believe Burnley are just sufficiently better to go for
Burnley win by one goal exactly @ 26/10
( Recently the bulk of Burnley's goals have come in the 2nd half - 80% plus - so the longer odds on HT/FT Draw/Burnley @ 7/2 will probably attract a beer or two from me)

Home 16/10 Draw 2/1 Away 2/1
Huddersfield at home are 6-5-6 (16-22) and Everton away are 2-6-9 (13-33). The reverse fixture in December was won by Everton 2-0.Huddersfield are on 35 points with a poor goal difference and desperately need at least 1 more point. Their 3 matches left after this are ManC/Chels/Arsenal. Everton are only statistically able to reach 7th in the table for the last European slot but this is hugely unlikely. I suspect those Everton players not going to the World Cup are,at this very moment, making holiday bookings. I would love to call the home win here based on the above but I have to admit I cannot be impartial on this match. I think Dean Hoyle (Owner + CEO) is just great. He lives and just about dies at every match and he sold a string of card shops to venture capitalists in 2010 for 250mil pounds. Maybe they had not heard of the internet Based on watching these sides play recently I think the likely result is
Draw @ 2/1

This is the semifinal. Who wins this plays the A-League Grand Final.
The match is played in Sydney.
Sydney has been the dominant team in the league for the past two years.
This year they showed their class again.
Melbourne Victory are their greatest rivals.
The last 7 matches between these two teams have been won by Sydney.
All of them, home and away.
Victory needed an 89th minute goal at home to qualify to this semifinal.
Bet: Sydney win @1.75

Spent the best part of the week trying to talk myself out of the Arsenal D/C - but failed
Arsenal have not won a single point away from home in the EPL in 2018. All that's left for Wenger is the Europa League the first leg of which finished 1-1 on Thursday evening. The return leg being next Thursday. ManU have had the week off. Mackem's call of ManU -1 has to be good.
Wenger's main rivals in his 22 years at Arsenal have been ManU. He is a very proud ( and stubborn ) man and today, for the last time ever, he takes Arsenal to Old Trafford to face a man who called him a voyeur
My little grey cells just will not buy into the one-way traffic odds on offer so
Arsenal D/C @ 39/20
In the unlikely event that the entire planet is correct and Vann is wrong what could be worse then an ex player rubbing salt into the wounds. Covering the above with
ATGS Sanchez @ 15/10
