I like no.16 SABASTIAN. Low weight again, he likes the long haul, "ran from the back" last time and was marginally beaten by today's favourite over shorter. Worth a small punt @ 14/1. Maybe box with a swinger x the favourite ....should get about 9/1 I suppose

R4 Woljarine @ 7/1 e/w. Will strip fitter this time out and has blinkers strike.
R5 Favourite just odds on, maybe Saratoga Dancer 12/1 ew to storm home late and get into money.
R6 Lady in Black to give the champ a real fight @ 5/1 ew, she goes well here and the Oh Susanna formline is killer, including Nother Russia form.
R7 Do it Again @ 9/2 e/w for Snaith after scratching of Oh Susanna.

Kentucky Derby
Justify - Forget the "Curse of Apollo" nonsense. Clearly the best horse.
Audible - Very sharp now
Vino Rosso - Selected over 3 other horses by two times winner John Velasquez
Bolt d'Oro - Speedy sort and could pop at a price
Listed as choices 1-4

South you biscuit. Thanks for the Do It Again tip. Means I tomorrow can punt for free.
Next time you out let me know so I can buy you a beer. (B) (B) (B) (B)

Race 5 - Heaps of Fun @ 20/1
Yes doesn't seem to be favored by stable but has shown more than capable over the shorter and holds quite a few ahead in the betting. Can't get hurt at those odds.
Race 7 - Walter Smoothie @ 40/1
Race 9 - French Navy @ 55/1
Both of those 2 are just ones I have followed and French Navy is probably my favourite horse, always seems to give its best and gets on well with Raymond Danielson.
Enjoy the days racing and good luck

R6 Always get some big priced runners getting into money when the 3yr olds go the marathon and Azkur @ 20/1 could be the that lurker, e/w.
R7 Majestic Mabo 5/2, the talk of the town for so long to finally put it right and show his real potential.
R8 Wide open in my view, will try a bomb in Down To Zero @ 33/1, plenty scope to improve here.
R9 Legal Eagle top class but still has doubts over 2000m. I think Coral Fever gives his all again and @ 17/2 is worth an ew shout.
R11 big roughie Storm Warning 20/1, like the jockey booking.
R12 Macduff 7/1 e/w. Solid Highveld debut and Striker keeps the ride.

And in the Derby R7 i'm adding a 2nd pick - The Rocketman 25/1. Azzie was sounding very bullish of a big run and if the Derby was his target he could be very fresh for this outing.

Race 8. Pinacle Peak is fast improving and rate him highly , the draw is ok ish , generally around 16/1
Race 9. Coral Fever at 8/1 and big improvement from Deo Juvente at 40/1
Race 10. Simply Royal is my best bet , sadly missed 4/1 and now 5/2.
Race 11. Parisienne Chic at 12/1 , a mare against the boys , but stable in good form and female stayers normally do ok. Also like Cool Chardonnay
at 7/1
Race 12. The get out stakes .A really tough one but have a fancy for Shukamisa who should run a good race at 8/1.

Has dropped drastically in the MR and short of best distance, but worth ago at those odds. Also stable and Jock had a few wins but definitely nothing big.
Also taken swingers with Souths and Coils 2.
Thanks for an awesome afternoon.

The big races are both my focus and strength over the years, and with life at home and work all just a bit busy right now, it’s time to take a step back and limit my involvement and tipping to those major grade 1 & 2 events.
Going to try and get back to being a bit more active on Twitter at same time for horse racing, and will post any future feature race picks on there (@southpawZA) as well as Goodforthegame when I can.
Cheers
