Last (World Cup) Punter Standing with GGGaming

I was thinking of ideas for a World Cup competition and came across this old thread “Last Punter Standing” dating back to 2013 www.goodforthegame.co.za/index.php?optio...&id=34376&Itemid=767

Let’s have another go for the World Cup – I will confirm the prize by the end of the weekend and we can start on Monday with the Brazil v Mexico game. Update: GGGaming putting up a R1000 free bet for the winner

Format
• Each punter starts with R1000 virtual money
• Each punter bets his entire balance of R1000 on a World Cup bet in the 5th last 16 game (Brazil v Mexico)
• Odds must not be shorter than 5/10 or bigger than 5/1 (this applies throughout the competition)
• Those punters that survive the 1st match move onto the 2nd (Belgium v Japan) and once again the entire balance is staked on a single World Cup bet
• You hit your bet you move onto the next match, you lose you are out.

How do you win?
There are 2 ways to win
1. You have the highest balance at the end of 11 matches (we will end with the final but skip the 3rd place playoff)
3. Everyone else is out and you are the last one standing (if there is no one left standing highest balance heading into that match wins)

To enter simply place your opening bet on this thread for example

Match 1: Brazil v Mexico Brazil win at 5/10 GGGaming R500/R1000

Rules
• Bets must be placed before kickoff of each match
• No in running bets accepted, all bets must be placed prior to kickoff of a match
• Price must be available at GGGaming at the time of placing the bet
• Winning bets to be rounded down to the nearest R10
• Players to calculate their own balances and carry them through
• Non SA players welcome although you will need a GGGaming account to collect the prize
• Players must be on every game so will need to wait or the 1st game of a day to finish before putting the balance on the next game. Miss a game and you are out

- Single bets only, no multiples
- Threads may not be edited other than to add info which was left off, prices may not be changed and once placed a bet is final, no edits at all after kickoff of a game

Prize
The title of “Last Punter Standing” and a prize from GGGaming to be confirmed. Update - GGGaming have put up a R1000 free bet

Guys there is not much time between games so if you think you may not be able to get on to re-invest you can put bets down for both games assuming you win the 1st

e.g Match 1 Brazil win at 5/10 R500/1000

Match 2: Handicap Belgium -1 at 11/10 1650/1500 (not my actual entry)

I had a crazy afternoon at the office and when I looked at the time it was 1615 - very disappointed as was loving the challenge

For the record I would have gone Uruguay plus the draw at around the 8/10 mark I think
