Week 21 Super Rugby Semi-Finals was created by Brent Graham

A disappointing quarter-final weekend for me with a small profit only after initially calling all 4 handicaps

Not sure if any books are out but here are my handicap projections for the semi-finals

Crusaders -7.5 v Hurricanes
Lions -7.5 v Waratahs

heh Brent , yip weird weekend for me too , won a fair bit on the rugby but gave so much back in the golf and the horses and by the time I wiped the shite outa my eyes I had leaked myself into a small loss for the week. Hoping I can scrounge back a few pennies from todays golf and cycling ..

WSB go -6.5 Saders and -8.5 Lions

I don't think there will be too much early movement but am considering an early play on the Crusaders minus

Was having a brilliant weekend up until Lions v Jags game. Then it became just an okay weekend. Literally turned off TV after final whistle and sat staring at a blank TV for 5 minutes wondering how the Jags points did not arrive, 30min to get one score and nothing. Unreal beat.

Onto this weekend and will be focusing on points, hoping for lowish quotes given semi-finals, especially in Joburg.

Took a couple of conservative bets along with a risky free bet.

Crusaders -7.5 @ 1.90 (3 units)
Crusaders/Lions double @ 1.86 (3 units)

And a handy R50 free bet, I thought would be good for a risk:

Lions win margin 11-20 @ 4.10

I've been happy to watch both lines drift out a bit during the week.
Think Canes especially have a decent shot at this. (Might just be my heart telling me this

This first game is very tough to bet on. The Hurricanes have been so up and down that I don't know what to expect of them. They may keep it close, win it on the right day, or even be destroyed by the Crusaders.

I'll look for some value during the game.

]well done Saders cap backers and also hanrick who has been bullish about Saders all season.

Thankfully didn't get more involved in game other than that cap double, will have to find another punt for Lions game and may look to follow forum.

Everything points to a comfortable Lion's win but I can't help but feel I opposed the Lion's so strongly at the start of the season and there could be a twist in the tail this afternoon. I feel if I go for the Tah's they have to start well , as a result I'm going plus 5.5 HT and first to ten points at 16/10.

FFS best kicking record in the tournament and he misses that absolute sitter, killed my HT/FT which I think was nailed on if he'd converted.

Didn't get chance to post but i'm also on the Tahs pts but @ 25.5, couldn't get the 24.5.
