Hanrick
Agree with you in a way that his season, scores are quite low in the Mitre but that was not the case in the past so the reason I go with over tries (and not points as I don't trust kickers) is not because 2 NZ teams are playing each others, its because 3 tries HT and 6.5 games is clearly value looking at historical results, forecast and starting 15 - simple as that

To be fair, there were 8 tries and 2 penalties in this game. I think the points backers can count themselves rather unlucky in this one!

Also to remember is that last year and the year before World Rugby trialed a few breakdown rules in the Mitre10 which gave a lot of advantage to the attacking teams

I fully agree with your statement Hanrick, especially on points and your results are going into that direction. However, still think that tries HT and FT are sometimes value as they have come more often than points - lets see what the next weeks will bring us

I like the lineup Cardiff Blues have selected v Leinster in the opening PRO14 game.

Leinster missing a few big names, but as usual they have impressive depth.

Blues at home under new coach, am thinking they'll have plenty of motivation to get season off to a good start.

Have taken some Blues on the board at 3.25 and some plus 6 @ 1.91

I'm getting a lot of positives vibes about Edinburgh this season, and the more I delve, the more I can see them surprising a lot of teams. There's been the right money in the industry for them and I can see them outdoing Glasgow....at the very least.
This is one article of many, and it might be worth following them in the early matches at least, as they seem to be slightly under estimated
www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-union/45357067

Anyway....food for thought in the Pro 14's....

Going against most guys tonight, back Province on the -7.5. Think with Wilco Louw back and more assertiveness from Damian De Allende that this Province team will go all the way.

Turning attention to the Pro 14 and I am on KIngs under 16.5 at GGGaming 17/20

Kings never scored more than 13 in Europe in season 1, I don't think they have added strength, some moisture about it seems and Zebre have a few internationals in their side

Nice going lads on Kings!

Missed most rugby so far this week due to rugby but caught last 30min of Bristol game, what a finish. Wasn't as confident from early week due to Piatau injury but stayed with the Bristol + but not for big stakes. Auckland result yesterday now has the weekend ahead looking very tasty, plenty options tomorrow -

Gloucester -5.5. Was tempted to follow Bradie but Saints starting line-up looks strong, will stay out this one.

Quins v Sale - two average sides but Sales away form long be their downfall. Probably will go Sale +5.5 here but a game also tempting to brass.

Worcester v Wasps - like Bristol, Worcester will have a good vocal home crowd behind them, not a bad squad and best plus around 7.5 will get some of my cash.

Exeter v Leicester - home form very strong, tough place to visit, fancy a close 1st half but Exter to pull away, looking for best Exeter 2nd half cap around -4.5 to -5.5.

Not looked at Currie Cup but did see the posts, way too late, about Sharks cap value. May look at some tryscorer markets and pts lines in that one.

Enjoy.

Brave yes and no - if you look at the cuts today on the three games
Over 54.5, 2.5 tries HT and 6.5 FT in the three games (last night on bet365)
Out of those 9, 1 over points , all over tries HT and 2 out of 3 over tries FT and went through and on the last game, not sure how another try and 3 more points were not scored - bad luck on that game I must admit
But looking at the trend, you are right Hanrick on points but once again, we can see that tries are going through - guess this is the bet to take on this Mitre and not points
