General consensus is this Ryder Cup will be the first where Tiger has a "perfect fit" for a partner as these two often practice together

Its propably my heart always pulling me toward Europe, but earlier this year thought the USA had a much stronger team..... but just lately been looking like Europe might have the slight edge in current form....

As always will just throw out a few bets purely from the hip and hope to get involved in the day to day match bets.

Top overall points Rose - 8/1 (will play alot, has form)
Top combined rookie Fleetwood - 9/2
Top combined wildcard Poulter - 6/1 (love my poults)
Top american wildcard Finau - 4/1 (not yet convinced of Tiger under pressure, nor Bryson with his technical mind set)

Whoo! Gonna be fun!

Going against the heart. The USA team looks stronger. Think USA will take the 4 balls, Euro will be good in foursomes, so it'll be tight the first 2 days but USA should pull away in the singles. Going USA win 8/10 & USA win by 4-6 & 4-1.

I was actually thinking Fowler as the outside bet for Top US as well. He's in decent form and will probably play most rounds.

Wow! What cracking matchups tomorrow.
That first one, Koepka/Finau vs Rose/Rahm looks a humdinger.

Cant say theres any that really stand out as value, but will propably look to back Spieth/Thomas over Casey/Hatton and maybe Molinari/Fleetwood over Reed/Woods.

:( no Poults!

Casey/Hatton ???? Has Bjorn ever played golf before??? and please don't tell me Furyk is saving Bubba for the foursomes.
Right - we have two Captains sharing a single brain cell - probably both coached by the idiot Faldo.
Back to the drawing board for the Vann

There are certain basics in team sport one of which is - present the opposition with something they do not want. In this case the USA do not wan't two in your face guys ie Poulter and Garcia and they do not want someone who conquered all on this course 3 months ago. I have searched repeatedly for the three names that just have to be there in the opening round - Poulter/Garcia/Noren - I don't see one single one of them. Bjorn has every potential to overtake Faldo as the biggest idiot on the planet.
I shall now go and change my scants again.

Eish! Like the fire Vann.

Have to agree on Poulter and Noren. Surely had to be out there on the first morning.

I do think the Rose/Rahm & Fleetwood/Molinari pairings are two very strong ones though and even the McIlroy/Olesen one could work. That just leaves the very iffy Casey/Hatton one,and if you had to get hothead Hatton on the field... the Four Balls is probably the better format,so........??

Disappointing by the euros this morning, but giving them the edge this afternoon again.

Ja,think Garcia/Noren should win and would also apose Bubba/Simpson.

Fleetwood/Molinari might be good enough to topple Spieth/Thomas,but front match will probably go DJ/Fowler.

Great viewing though!

Eish!! Jaaaa,i dont know what to say about the saturday pairings.....

Personally I wouldve just kept the afternoon pairings and make changes fot the foursomes after.

Euro would be lucky with a drawn session.

Noren very unlucky to be sat out

I thought Casey unlucky not to play both matches yesterday

Think Europe win the 4 balls 3-1

and taking DNB multi

McilRoy/Garcia win
Casey Hatton win
Molinari/Fleetwood win
Thomas/Spieth win at 10/1

Main bet at 3/1 tie in play double
Molimari/Fleetwood win
Thomas/Spieth win

Both at Betx

Also the 3-1 to Europe scoreline at 5/1

Taken the tnb double at 2/1

Molinari/Fleet - think Woods will spray it
Thoms/Spieth - not impressed by Rory

Wow,sorry I missed all the impressive posting. Well done Mr.Graham!

Think Europe has got this sown up as Rose,Fleetwood,Molinari and Noren should win their matchups, wich means they would just need a half point from one of the others.
All others looks pretty tight to me,except maybe Woods over Rahm. (if Woods ofcourse has anything left in the tank.) (That would maybe be my only worry for Molinari too.)

Was hoping they would put Reed up against Poulter, but vs Hatton could be absolute FIRE!

Has been awesome viewing as always. Wish the Presidents Cup could get a little closer to this intensity.

Thanks lads, been a great tournament and although a bit disappointed in todays draw with Fleetwood and Thomas getting much tougher draws than Molinari and Spieth

Here is a video preview with my thoughts on all 12 singles matches as well as a 45/1 multiple and a 7/1 and 9/2 treble

Do enjoy the Ryder Cup as both a sporting and punting event. The Noren point almost brought me back to break even on the punting side but I definitely owe Bjorn an apology for the wild cards. The old guys produced 9 1/2 points to the USA wild cards 2 points - and that's where the Cup was won and lost. Until 2020 then chaps.

That was quite a putt from Noren to win the match, I couldn't watch this afternoon so watching the highlights now

A brilliant Ryder Cup in so many ways but not least of which punting. Broke square today thanks to the treble at the top arriving (Casey void so odds reduced) but collected on Thomas top USa and my biggest bet Thomas over 2.75 pts and this almost rivaled the Vuelta

Thanks for the contributions everyone
