Some nice horses running today at Turffontein today

Race 2: Wild Fire @ 8/1
I think the fav might be hard to beat but going to take him on. This one looks bred for distance and whilst got a very poor MR its only after 3 runs. Also gets top jock up and worth a go at those odds. WIll also take swingers.

Race 3 - Peggy Carter @ 25/1
Looks open race besides favourite. Horse that beat fav previously, Eternal summer, admitidly over shorter, was beaten by this one as well. I also just think Ideal Worlds get better over distance so hoping can cause an upset.

Race 5 - Brigtnumberten @ 16/1
Nice drop in the merit weightings and had some good runs. Also like the stable companion so will be taking swingers with him.

Race 6 - Rocketman @ 16/1
When they last met of course and distance was beaten by 3.7 lengths and now a 3 Kg swing in the weights and was coming back from a 6 months break. This is the 3rd run after rest and hoping he can give the hot shot fav something to think about.

Race 7 - Dhayaban @ 40/1
HUge outsider but I remember Exculabers coming back from a break after gelding to win easily. So at these odds no harm and hoping.

Race 2 Love the Bosbok at 33/10 , Toungue Twister is my roughie at 16/1.

Race 3 Snap KT, like Peggy Carter , loading places .

Race 4 Knysa Rose at 4/1.

Race 5 The Old man Golden man for a few places .. 28/10.

Race 6 The Rocketman is also an old fancy at 16/1

Race 7 Senor LIZARD at 8/1 and better , some strong form lines .

Race 8 . Arrows of Desire at 6/1 in a very open race .

Two for me at the moment at Greyville

Race 1 - Letaba @ 10/1
First run up, decent breeding and stable in fair form at moment. Dame Fair Rosalind was very speedy and won a few good sprints and out of Oratoria can be a decent sprinter. Fav looks good sort out of some decent races in Cape, but hoping for a bit of a surprise.

Race 3 - Di Maggio @ 25/1
I have followed this one for awhile and whilst seems to be out of form, last run over course and distance, came second 2 Wynkelder which is decent sort, and that was off MR of 80. Now running off much lower and with okay appie up tonight in with a shout. Can't get hurt at those odds.

A nice day here in Durban, no rain yet but know some forecast for later.

A couple of large outsiders for me in the first couple.

Race 1 - Chanel Allure @ 70/1
Jock sledom rides for stable, well drawn and decently bred with Dame been speedy young, and as we all know Captain Al also can produce som nice sprinters.

Race 2 - Lovewell @ 75/1
I very seldom see a Van Zyl horse that far off. Lol, just can't take it with stable jock up.

THen a place double and win Double
Race 3 - Iron Born @ 2/1
Race 8 - Philae @ 38/10
