BG is at the cricket so thought I'd best start the rugby thread as S15 handicaps are out with GG Gaming.

Canes -8.5 Highlanders
Rebels -6.5 Brumbies
Saders -15.5 Chiefs
Blues -14.5 Sunwolves
Waratahs -7.5 Reds
Lions -9.5 Jags
Bulls -9.5 Sharks

Thats how it looked with GG at time of this post. Early thoughts most welcome

We also have 6 Nations Week 4, prices have been up for a while so I won't quote them here

GG Gaming TABNZ just out

Canes -8.5 Highlanders -6.5

Blues -14.5 Sunwolves -13.5
Waratahs -7.5 Reds -6.5
Lions -9.5 Jags -7.5
Bulls -9.5 Sharks -3.5

Early bets Rebels -3.5 looks like money for jam.
Crusaders -12.5 Something seriously wrong in Colin Coopers Chiefs camp.
Blues - 13.5 Very close against Saders & Jaguares away.

Serious miss for me last week on Crusaders -6.5 at half time. Tim Bateman in for Ryan Crotty, had not played and dropped some soft balls & Mo'unga missed first two conversions

Cheers and Good Luck to everyone.

Hi Gents,

I've missed the first three weeks of the season being on honeymoon, travelling through Africa without a connection. Back home now, ready for the weekend, and the Handicap tonight.

I only have two bets down so far and thats the Blues -14.5, and a small interest on the home team acca @ 7.98/1 with WSB. I actually took that on Monday morning at an airport and found it encouraging that someone else also spotted it and posted it on the forum.

Looking forward to this evening!

Honda Lads ,

Sitting at home with an eye infection so thought I'd spend the day behind the computer LOL.

My thoughts for the weekend .

The Hurricanes bounced back to best and were too good for the Brumbies last week , a much better outfit with BB at the helm , I preferred the Highlanders last week against the Rebels and thought they'ed steal it at the end.

Both sides pretty much at full strength and a tight game could be on the cards .

There is also a fair amount of rain during the day which could clear up by kick off but that could also point towards and unders call.

The handicap looks well placed at 9.5.

The 1st Australian derby of the weekend has the Rebels by 5.5/6.5 points , I made it a little higher at 10.5 but one does realise that the Brumbies will fancy some payback after being beat at home a few weeks ago 27-34, while they'll also look to improve after last week's loss to the Canes.

New Saffer Referee AJ Jacobs is in charge and havent really seen him much.

Money has come for the Brumbies at plus 6.5 but I do still fancy the Rebels marginally and a small play on the minus 5.5 is my call.

On Saturday first up is the Crusaders vs Chiefs , the Chiefs are simply awful and surely can't get much worse , the handicap of 15.5 looks well placed although I probably wouldn't be diving on to anything . The Crusaders have in the past been guilty of easing off the gas when well in front .

If anything a small play on the minus or possibly a look at the unders in the hope that the Chiefs don't contribute too much.

There is a small chance of afternoon showers when the Blues host the buoyant Sunwolves. The Blues will be looking to get back to the form that almost beat the Crusaders in Round 1. They were poor in Durban and might have got a result in Argentina. Now they face an acid test to see whether they can gather some form and consistency in the coming weeks.

The Cap looks well priced once again to me but if anything I can see myself going with the Wolves as their style of play is a pleasure to watch and the Blues are well the Blues.

So an early bite on the plus 15.5 and if the Blues start well I'll go in again on a bigger plus in running.

Once again a small chance of rain at the SCG where the Waratahs host the Reds.
Early on in the season I thought I'd oppose the Reds but I'm beginning to warm to them. The game is played at the Cricket Ground which further points me in the direction of the visitors. The Tahs I feel are still badly coached and although on paper they look pretty good this weekend I have my eye on this as my best bet of the weekend and will be flying into the best plus on offer.

The Lions will be questioning themselves atm and it's unlikely whether they can regain their form of last season, I feel they'll probably just sneak it but I'll look to have a play on the Jag's in running if they conceed early with a small bet on the plus at the start as I do feel they'll be good enough to get a bonus point having improved so much last term on the travels to get further confidence in the bet.

Finally the Bulls host the Sharks , the game is in start contrast to last weeks results where the Bulls pulled off the great win in Joburg whilst the Sharks stumbled to a poor defeat in Durban. There as some plus 9.5 early in the week and the cap settled around the 6.5 mark
This should be a bone crunching affair, and a sell of points might be a look in if set in the 50's.

Overall I still fancy the Sharks for the conference and feel they can win the game , however the safer bet will be my second best bet of the weekend and I'll be jumpng on best plus I can find.

Play well

Thoroughly enjoyed the show tonight , thanks Brent, Gav and Hein. MIght have to re think my tactics on the Blues game as Hein did make sense and the early blitz by the Blues should be on. However I'll prob look at getting on the Wolves at some stage during the game as I just can't have the Blues as my main bet.

Have had my biggest bet of the season on the Reds , AA Cooper is a has been , Carmichael Hunt is a clown , they're playing at the cricket ground , as Hein mentioned the Reds will drag them down to their seedy level and hopefully stay in the cap. I'm banking on Brad Thorne winning the mental part of things too.

Looking forward to the rugby

Please note Duncan Paia’aua has replaced Jordan Petaia in Queensland’s backline after the dynamic centre suffered a season-ending foot injury against the Crusaders last week. Adjust your bet a few points for this. Petaia had been exceptional in first two games, and there was Wallaby talk.

Just caught the handicap show and wasn’t expecting such a consensus on the Blues. I hope this is a good sign lads, I also agree with couch on emotional aspect of game here.

An early couple Blues tries would settle the nerves as this is likely going to be my biggest super rugby bet of weekend. But could be tempted in on a decent bet on biggest Jaguares plus, Lions side does look a bit weak.

Locked in early to Rebels -3.5 and have Canes in a multi at -6.5

Line is now Canes -9.5. Thinking about an insurance bet.

Raining in Wellington, favouring Highlanders forward camp (no Frizzel this week).

TJ Perenara v A Smith will be a top battle.

Hanrick if you are out there, missed you on the panel today. As the inform panelist what is your best bet for the weekend?

Hi threepeat

Share your sentiment on the Landers forwards being better and that should favour them in a wet game. I took Landers +8.5 earlier in the week.

For this morning's 2 games I've taken an unders double on total points. Under 44.5 in 1st game onto under 50.5 in second game. Like the under 50.5 in Melbourne strong.

Best bet for me on the handicaps is a toss up between Saders and Blues on the minuses. Also like the Jaguares plus and give them a chance to win the game, even though they are also rotating players.

Folau Fainga is a bet every week the way they prioritise the maul. Can't remember who has been highlighting him. Kudos to you.

Apologies for aftertiming, I'm on Fainga to score and Brumbies win was 7.50. I have a full 3 euro on it!

Ireland team is quite strong. Only missing maybe Henshaw and Leavy from first choice 15. Quite similar to the 15 that played NZ in november.

Thanks Hanrick. I am off to a good start. Following you on Melbourne game with a variation.

Took the same bet now and was about to post it

This one is belly up. Trying to recover on under 47.5 points

On one of those runs where I can't buy a bet. Crusaders and Blues backers, watch out.
