Paris - Roubaix
The third cycling monument of the season better known as "The Hell of the North". A race for the strong men who can power over the cobbles - some winners in the last 10 years - Sagan/Van Avermaet/Degenkolb/Cancellara/Boonen. Run since 1896. Now 257km with 55km of cobbles. It is often said that the race is not won with good luck but with the absence of bad luck.
A little early for my picks ( probably Saturday ) but the Missus dreamed that Greipel won ( I am not brave enough to ask whether this was specifically Greipel or just powerful sprinter thighs in bib shorts - besides I value my health ) She follows many of the riders and commentators several of whom have listed Greipel amongst their favorites. I was told to place this bet
e/w Greipel @ 100/1 ( 50 bucks e/w )
Note - This is a guaranteed losing bet for me as I will never see the R100 or any winnings should he come in.

Win only

I'm with Stybar at 12/1, was toying with a sprinter but decided to go for a strong man. Then I've also nibbled at Moscon at 66/1.

Vann - this is for for you bru, :beer
