India v Afghanistan
Down in Southampton today. In the two completed matches batting first was a no-no. With Afghanistan's luck they will probably end up batting first. Against SA on this ground Chahal was the stand out performer with the ball.
100 to be scored in match No @ 12/10
Top Indian bowler Chahal @ 11/4

Looks suspiciously like I knew more about the pitch from 10,000 miles away then Kohli did standing on it.

Profit on windies game but so close to them getting over line when seemed unlikely.

Today I like -

Pakistan under 4.5 sixes @ 5/6
SA highest 1st 15 overs @ 15/20

Lords tends to suit a pace attack and think might help Proteas who are out tournament so no pressure.

First match at Lords so don't really know what to expect but, as South says, usually good for quicks and a fast outfield. Pakistan managed 21 boundaries in the miserable 212 (In 40 overs) against India and I think this line is too low at Lords against a weaker SA bowling line-up.
Pakistan over 27.5 match boundaries @ 9/10

South Africa's batting has been absolutely woeful today and across the whole of this World Cup. Not one player yet to make a century and an even worse stat i just heard on the radio was that in the first 10 overs of them batting against Pakistan they only scored 3 boundaries and 1 of them was a knick off.

Considering the talent they have in the top 4 they should really be doing a whole lot better. I'll let Amla off the hook though as he was over the hill and past it about 3 years ago or so

Back at Lords today. Both team boundary - around 31.5 - and match boundary lines seem short today against Pakistan - 36 boundaries in 308 - and match boundaries of 59 against a poor SA side. Rumor has it that the pitch will have more grass but if it looks good at the toss I will be all over the 62.5 match boundaries at 9/10. The England middle order deal in 6's so going up front with

Pakistan vs NZ:

Sarfaraz Ahmed over 26.5 performance points @0.8

NZ have a good attack and should be able to take advantage of the cloudy conditions so I’m confident he’ll get a bat. He averages 35 in ODI cricket and is a great rotator of strike.

Furthermore, he’s the wicket keeper thus will be in the game wrt catches and stumpings. Pakistan bowlers have been pretty good too.

So I’m pretty confident that this bet could land in either Pakistan’s batting or fielding innings.

LiveLovePunt is battling to post and asked me to post this for him (anyone else having problems?)

India vs WI game tomorrow: My best bet is over 14.5 extras (all included) in the Indian batting innings @0.95 Windies love a wide and their short-pitched tactics often result in leg byes too. If india bat first then this should be golden. However, even if India bat 2nd, I'm hoping WI can keep up the decent form with the bat and put up a total high enough for them to concede 15 extras when they bowl ?

India have not looked convincing and several Windies players have seen their bowlers in the IPL so Windies on the cap. Windies racked up 27 fours in their run chase against NZ so this line may be a little low.

@mackem I have just read your preview on the SA Sri Lanka game today - did you mix the odds up mate? Currently SA 4/10 SL 18/10 so may have just been some finger trouble.

Got to be value in SL @18/10 with SA current form and nothing to play for surely?

Have to wonder about the ICC. "We will have batting friendly pitches to entertain the crowds at the Cricket World Cup" - and today at Lords we have the unedifying sight of those two quality strike bowlers Kane Williamson and Steve Smith terrorising the batsmen.

Most sixes = England 17/20 Sunbet.

Feels like great value. England have 4 or 5 who can easily clear the boundary at will, whereas India more of a fast scoring 4’s type side.

13-1 six count, bet scrapes home...! Something really odd about that Indian batting performance. I’ve no complaints, but really bizarre ‘chase’ from them.
