Quick look at their prelim caps(GG) and no surprises on Super rugger, will tune in though and hear the angles.Thinking of watching more live Supersport rugger live for interesting caps.Brumbies cap of +4,5 looks good, never know when these Blues are gonna pitch up and stop knocking the ball on.

I have taken a double of Saders -17.5 / Bulls -8.5

I just don't think this Sharks side in the same class and can see them getting hammered in second half.

It is very likely that Saders rest Mo'unga this week as ABs can only play 6 games in a row, he's currently played 4 on the trot but two games in SA up next I'd say they'll rest him here. Whitelock & Crotty have already been confirmed out.

I was originally going to pile into Bulls myself but I see Kriel & Odeendaal are very likely out due to injury which leaves them with a gaping hole in the midfield. Stighling also sounds doubtful but assume Specman will replace him.

Tahs have Hanigan, Will Miller & Tom Robertson back which offsets their outs somewhat.

PSTD sounds doubtful for Stormers.

Also holding fire on Bulls minus because of the two centres likely being out. Bulls don't have much depth at centre.

I’ve piled into the Bulls. Don’t think the backline will be that weak and Waratahs are average. I expect the Bulls backline to be:
9. Van Zyl
10. Libbok
11. Kotze
12. Pollard
13. Sage
14. Stighling
15. Gelant
Bench, Papier, Rossouw and Specman

Bulls are 3-0 against the handicap after a loss this season! Bounce back Kings coming back to their Fortress against a Tahs team without their top 2 try scorers last season. Bulls on the handicap seems the place to go ... just finding the best place for that is tricky!

Too much stress on here re some possible bulls injuries. The Tahs have bigger issues - Holloway now suspended, to add to a few others missing out. Slow backline, can’t trouble Bulls speed, hate rush defence and Bulls will stick with that.

Bulls at altitude to pile on the pain for the Tahs.

Guys, WSB out with SS Rugby Challenge. I quickly placed my bets cause these lines are volatile and bookies don't really know the lines until the money comes in. My selections:

Border vs WP -26.5 - WP is ruthless in this competition and Border pretty much amateurs.
Boland vs Free State -4.5 FS won very well last week against the Sharks XV and will have some Pro 14 players back.
Bulls -24.5 v Namibia The Bulls playing at home will be too much for Namibia. Namibia beat a poor cap easily last week against Lions u21 team.
EP vs SWD -4.5 EP Rugby is shocking at best and they let 20 Kings players go so they won't have reinforcements. SWD was blown away by WP stacked with Super Rugby players, in my opinion bookies reading to much into that.
Zimbabwe vs Sharks XV -29.5 Empty your bank account here gents. Zimbabwe will get 60 against the Sharks. Even Border amateurs made light work of them.

I see WSB started suspending some lines again and other moving. So need to be quick.

Crusaders made numerous changes and I think the Sharks should stay within the handicap (currently at 22.5 @1.90 with Sunbet) with relative ease. Have taken a small stake on the Sharks for a win @ 10/1

Blesbok, ,be carefulll ,that is a strong Saders team , meaning they will play an open game ,with brilliant runners in the backline, will jordan at the back ,will bring the ball forward the whole day.they pick a moveable pack of forwards ,and cannot see this Sharks will keep up with them.Sharks slip too much tackles.saying that,Sharks aiming the Chiefs game.

Bulls team out and I am much more comfortable with no Libbok in the starting line-up.

15 Warrick Gelant, 14 Cornal Hendricks, 13 Johnny Kotze, 12 Burger Odendaal, 11 Rosko Specman, 10 Handré Pollard (captain), 9 Ivan van Zyl, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Hanro Liebenberg, 6 Marco van Staden, 5 RG Snyman, 4 Jannes Kirsten, 3 Trevor Nyakane, 2 Jaco Visagie, 1 Lizo Gqoboka

Substitute: 16 Johan Grobbelaar, 17 Simphiwe Matanzima, 18 Wiehahn Herbst, 19 Thembelani Bholi, 20 Paul Schoeman, 21 Andre Warner, 22 Manie Libbok, 23 Dylan Sage

I hear you, but crusaders without Richie Mouanga is not the same (evident from their loss to the Waratahs). Considering that the crusaders have been struggling with their set pieces, the Sharks just might have a chance in winning this as this is one of their strengths and might lead to several penalty kicks in the shark's favour. But, I will not bet my "granny's pension fund" on this. Only a small stake on sharks outright, but within the handicap I'm quite confident

Thanks, some great value you got there! Lines moved quickly. I still took WP minus 31.5 and Sharks minus 38.5, should still cover that easily. Also really like Free State at minus 7.5.

Would like more TV coverage. Something like 1 x Thursday night game, 1 x Friday night and 2 x Sunday afternoon games.

Super rugby has been a minefield for punters this year but we go again:

Sharks +22.5
Not a lot of confidence but Saders missing Richie and Sharks looking better with Curwin at 10.

Chiefs +11.5
Not a fan of Colin Cooper or the Chiefs but a NZ derby indicates a close fixture. A double digit handicap is generous so I'll have a crack at it.

Wolves +10.5
Wolves were blown away last week but have been consistently good this season. I wouldn't be surprised if they cause an upset here.

Brumbies +4.5
Brumbies at home playing good rugby.

Jags -2.5
Storm are woeful on the road and missing big players.

Best bet of the week: Bulls -6.5
Bulls to have a big bounce back against a stuttering Tahs side. This is granny pension stuff.

Also Havili not playing Will Jordan instead. I'm a massive Crusaders fan but I'm thinking the winning score range is likely to be 11-20 with these players out not higher.

Short recap of the SS Challenge caps I got when they came out vs where they are now in brackets. Really feel there is good value getting on the early lines in this comp.

Bulls -24.5 (-34.5) v Namibia
Boland v Free State -4.5 (-8.5)
EP v SWD -4.5 (-4.5)
Border v WP -26.5 (-33.5)
Zimbabwe v Sharks XV -29.5 (-40.5)
Acca 23/1

With the exception of the EP v SWD game, all the caps have moved quite a bit. Just hoping for now upsets this round!

Hi Mike,

Its a bit of a mixed bag. SA Rugby website and the respective team Twitter handles usually carry some team news. Problem is they wait until Friday to make announcements.

Other problem is it depends union to union. WP does use the matches to get injured guys back or guys not in the match day squad. Lions play mostly u21’s etc.

EP has a contracting problem, so most guys in Pro 14 won’t play. FS are better as this and they will use some guys but most get a rest until Currie Cup time.

Yes Bradie, in the first week the caps come out on Tuesday lunch time. Which was very surprising. So this Tuesday I has lunch at desk and waited. Around 12:30 they started to come out one by one. By 13:30 lines had started moving.

I checked everyday as well after last week but nothing until 1h ago
I had an account with WSB that they closed following a bet I placed few weeks ago on a prod2 mistake they made (mdm vs massy - bet void ) so if no European bookie get those odds early, it will be complicated for me to get any value odd
