Have taken Cheetahs at 14/1, Griquas at 25/1 and Pumas at 50/1 to win the Currie Cup. All three too big.

Let the battle begin www.twitter.com/hanrickswart

Guys !
The Pumas, Cheetahs, and Griquas, at 1,000/1 haven't got a snowballs hope at guy-fawkes of winning..
Maybe just R10.00 on each ? Almost like 'flushing it' ?
Could be R30.00 on Sharks and at least you've a chance of getting R100.00 back ?
Surely..
Anyway, good luck averybody.
PS. C'mon Couch, tell us why... :)

Ha! Thanks South - yes, that was last years squads. That will teach me for doing the background research late at night at the end of a long day. Can't see how to delete the post - can a moderator delete so no one else gets confused?

My bad....

Have taken some Fiji +6.5 versus New Zealand Maori.

Fiji is a team of European professionals assembled since beginning of July. Likely to be a big crowd in Suva and hot weather. Plenty of the same starters from the team that beat France in Paris at the end of last year. New Zealand Maori look solid overall. Only stand outs Akira Ioane and Shaun Stevenson who both very strong in super rugby, but Otere Black at first five is very poor in my opinion, and the halfback Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi hardly played for the chiefs.

A nice start to the Currie Cup and I know Hanrick loved every minute of that match - with about 20 minutes to go I turned over to the tennis mentally banking the u56.5 only to turn back for the last 8 minutes to find myself having to sweat.

As per weekly betting e-mail Pumas + our best bet ( Click here to subscribe) and I am looking forward to this afternoons action

Thanks Ballaholic great call, joined late last night when turning in for bed, set alarm to get up to follow but then couldn’t find anywhere to watch so back to bed. Nice result to wake up too.

Solid win for Fiji who must be eyeing out an upset in World Cup pool stages.

Going to take some of the Fiji +18 v Aus onto Argentina win v France for first round games.

What’s the general view - unders in both? Overs joburg, unders CT? Not looked at conditions, what’s it’s like in SA?

Both games will have perfect conditions. On the points I like Pumas overs. See them scoring close to 40. Unsure of Cape Town points at this stage.

Bet365 have Pumas 27.5 points 5/6, 33.5 points 2/1, Pumas to score a try before 17mins 30 secs, and Pumas to score over 3.5 tries 4/6.

Will be taking some of these, just need to decide which to take... points or tries

EDIT: Betfair have 26.5 points 20.23, and 3.5 tries 20/21
