Know the red card played a role, but also uncontested scrums for 60 minutes.

Italy didn’t threaten for 45 minutes, SA was exactly on the line and always going to have too much against an impotent and bad disciplined team.

Italy really disappointing, in so many ways.

Have climbed into Cardiff Blues -2 @ 1.80 vs Edinburgh in the Pro 14

Don't lose many at home on the artificial pitch and have named a strong side

Boks won well today but I’m still worried about some of the decision making in backline. Need to sort that before 1/4 finals.

Aus v Uruguay -

Anytime try Lellifiano 24/10. Feels big.
Main bet Aus -48.5 @ 8/10

If they labour to a 30 point win, I'll look like a proper mug here.
But I reckon the Aussies will put on a show in what looks like will be good conditions. (Sunny and humidity below 50%)

My biggest cap bet this year -48 @ 1.91

Have added the following today:
Aus by 61+ @ 3
Aus by 71+ @ 6.25
Aus by 85+ @ 26
Aus win to nil @ 4.5 (boosted with Skybet)
No Uruguay try scorer @ 2.38
Folau Faingaa anytime @ 1.50 (skinny but just can't see him not getting over)

And my one Mitre 10 Cup bet is Otago +9 @ 1.91 vs Canterbury
They've not been shown a great deal of respect by the books, but at home defending the Ranfurly Sheild they have been excellent this season.
Canterbury look very good on paper, but they're not the team they've been in the past.
Think Otago have very good chance of winning this one, but safer bet is the plus.

Do we know if the roof is closed for the game? Closed roofs and the humidity inside seem to cause more problems.

Read an article on Rugby365 now and I understand it to be a closed roof.

Aussies all the way for me, hope they get things right and get off to a fast start for a change.

Australia HT -24.5 @ 9/10
Australia Total points over 57 @ 9/10
Petaia MoM 9/1 - making his debut, strong fast 100kg lad. Hoping for some left wing magic!

They should shoot all 23 Aussies. Got this completely wrong, not humidity, not Uruguay putting up a fight but Australia just being Australia.

Aussies nothing short of a bloody disgrace

Otago give away 2 intercept tries then concede 3 points in the last minute, Canterbury win by 10 to kill the +9

Going to crawl into a hole and hope Cardiff Blues can somewhat rescue me later

A margin favoring the Kiwis of 60 - 80 is widely anticipated v 23rd-ranked Namibia The Africans have played NZ just once: falling 44 points short in London in RWC 2015. Since then, the All Blacks have gone on to win every clash with T2 opposition by at least 33 points (average margin 55.83). The numbers become daunting for Namibia when focusing entirely on New Zealand’s history with T2 nations at RWCs, with New Zealand racking up 60+ points on seven of 11 occasions, with the All Blacks enjoying an average margin of 60.64 points since 2003 against the current T2 crop. In their last eight clashes with T1 nations, Namibia have managed to keep within 40 points of only Italy, losing each of their 14 games against T1 opposition this century by an average margin of 60.71 points. I remind fellow punters of the wisdom of Oracle that high margins are notoriously difficult to pick, and to avoid the minus.

However have been on a roll and watching this game so its a must bet for me.

Betting a Double 5 of 10 units NZ -66.5 @ $1.60 into Canada +57.5 v SA @1.90

Logic dictates that AB's will get a higher margin than SA v N, and that Canada will get a better result v SA than v NZ.
(Noted that SA has only 4 day turnaround and will have their as yet unnamed second 15 playing).
