Tahir MOTM @17/1 (BWin) seems like good value for a game in PE

Main bet is under 334.5 match runs @1.83 (bet 365) in the Giants v Blitz game

Also Ben Dunk under 23.5 runs @1.87 (sunbet) because I think he's useless and will be found out by the top-class Blitz seamers

I also like AB top Tshwane Bat at 3.5 (sportingbet) in pretoria vs Durban Heat

Tahir at 17/1 is a fantastic price LLP. Most places have him around 10's.

I also like your unders on runs in PE.

For the Spartans & Heat I am placing my faith in the Protea expats - Morkel and Abbott. Reckon they are the standouts for their respective sides.

Have seen the various grounds a few times now with three matches played at St George's. Average runs - 335. Wickets Quicks - 22 and Spin - 11. MOM all three to batsmen
Giants v Rocks
Two good batting outfits and this line is just too low so taking a good run at it
Match runs over 315.5 @ 17/20
and smaller bets on
Giants bowler Dala @ 33/10
Rocks bowler Fortuin @ 3/1
MOM Vince @ 9/1

Busy watching my golfing pick - Burmester - with a lob wedge on the 18th. He has now played four shots and has yet to see the green. Should probably call it a day but what the heck
Blitz v Heat
Just the two bowlers
Steyn for Blitz @ 11/4
Abbott for Heat @ 33/10

Bit of an in-play pick on the NZ v ENG match. Looks like a flat pitch I can see both sides making 400 and enough showers to deny a result.

Draw - 1.62 at WSB

Spartans v Rocks
See there is no preview on this match so will list my logic. Only two incomplete matches at this ground to date.
Runs - Spartans racked up 141/4 in 15 overs against Heat. Last season here Spartans made 203/5 with Rocks in reply 202/6. Runs line just looks light but then so did the line at St George's the other night and I got burnt.
Bowling - Only nine wickets have gone down in the two incomplete matches - all to quicks but then the spinners have not had a good bowl yet. Ground traditionally favours the speedsters.
Sixes - Rocks managed 10 in their 166/7 at St George's the other night and outscored Spartans by 8 to 4 in last years match. Not sure why the Rocks sixes line of 6.5 has moved to 7/10 for the unders?
Match Runs
Over 326 5 @ 17/20
Spartans Bowler
Morkel @ 3/1
Rocks Bowler
Fortuin @ 3/1
Sixes
Based on the line shortening for unders going to take the bet as follows
Most Match Sixes
Rocks @ 11/10

Break even on yesterdays 4 punts with the Fortuin 3/1 landing but it felt like a loss. Batting has gone to pot in this tournament.
Heat v Giants
Joining LLP on that 4/1 and adding two
Heat to win @ 23/20
Heat Bat
Vilas @ 9/2 (Same logic as Tahir - odds look good)

Had no joy thus far with my big runs at the odds on bets being 0 from 2 on the MSL but going for one more today.
Giants v Spartans
The St George's wicket has tended to be a little slow and runs hard to come by. There has been some overnight rain and the outfield should not be lightning fast. The first innings runs line of 168.5 has only been achieved in 2 of the 8 innings played and I will have a bet on that. The market that does look attractive is the match 4's. In the four matches to date we have had 18/34/23/18. The ground lends itself to 6's (55 to date against the 93 4's) and with several batsmen capable of clearing the ropes in this match just cannot see this line being made
Total Match 4's
Under 26.5 @ 17/20

I see the under 168.5 has now shortened to around 11/20. Hoping I'll be glad I got on earlier although LLP makes a good point. Tried van der Merwe last time out but he bowled like a school kid who had never heard of line and length. Will be joining Couch on Jon Jon.

Once again I have to doff my hat to our board rugby punters who make their living off odds-on bets. I just cannot buy one in any sport. Both tonights are going down the tubes by a wide margin. Odds-on will be shelved for the foreseeable future. No idea why I still try them on cricket when I have long since learnt that they never work for me in footie.

I backed the Spartans to win against the Giants pre match.

Thought it was all gravy after the Spartans put up that score. Absolutely dumbfounded with how shocking both the fielding and bowling has been! About 4 dropped catch's and everything too wide and fast. Dreadful!

Didn't think lightning could strike twice in the space of two days but in my case it has.

Backed the Rocks to win and after posting a outrageous score the Heat chase it down. I think the Spartans have been giving the Rocks lessons in fielding. Dropped catch's just abysmal!

Taking Tahir with Couch. Just feel (ie not bothering to check piles of stats) that more wickets go down in the last 5 overs then the first 5. Ngidi usually gets an over or two deeper into the match then Morkel and his odds are slightly better. Also about time Morris came up with a good all round performance
Tahir as above
Top Spartans bowler
Ngidi @ 7/2
MOM
Morris @ 12/1

Vann, a little something to back up your Ngidi play. He was given a lot of stick by the crowd in their previous game because of his poor catching. I suspect he'll be fired up for this one.
