Aussie bookies have him as fourth fav at 13/1.
Then also as top Renegade bowler at 8/1 when everywhere in Aus he is 3/2. Richardson will be touring with the Aus team.

Tom Banton top Heat batsmen at 14/1 (5/1 in Aus) - Edit... have seen Banton is only playing 8 matches out of the 14.. is replaced by ABD for six of them. Hope he can score 7 centuries.
Maxwell top stars batsman 6/1 seeing he is missing the 4 Aus ODIs.

Thanks Bruce. Always like a bowler outright but limited time for research in the hectic season so joining on the 8/1

Jip same thing with Banton who is only there for a bit.
I have gone with a few multies with D Short and C Lynn thrown in as top batters for their side - combined that with plays on Sean Abbott, Rashid and Lamicchane.
I did not know that Maxwell was not going to India for the ODI's so that does make him a big runner.

Must be that they did not pick up that news as Sunbet had him on 11/1.
Took Lamichhane as top bowler too as a safer bet.
Excited for this BBL season.

Sixers for me all day long at even money. Granted this is the first game for them of the Tournament as well as Perth however Sydney to me have a very settled side and in my opinion a better balance than the Scorchers. The wicket at the SCG is a slow one and will very much suit the Sixers.
Too many changes for the Perth side and i think the batting line up is a bit one dimensional. I like the bowling unit that the Sixers have in Abbott, O'Keefe and new recruit Jackson Bird and to me seems way more solid than Perth given the injuries that they have.
Perth simply trading as favs going on name only and the fact that they have won the Comp a fair few times.

Gotta be the Gades for me at 17/20. They are the current jollies in the market however i firmly believe they have the better team on paper and are coming off a more convincing loss than Perth who quite frankly were blown away by the Sixers and a game i called correctly pre-match. Perth were out of the contest pretty much after the Power Play with some reckless batting and the Renegades bowling Department is as good if not even better than the Sixers.
Perth will eventually find some form and are on home ground here but i just feel that there have been too many radical changes within the side for this years Big Bash and the Renegades have a more settled and balanced team.

The Strikers were lucky in the opening round as they started very poorly against Sydney Thunder, but due to weather conditions the match was abandoned.
Now they are facing the Scorchers, who, after a disappointing start, bounced back with a good 11 run win against defending champions Melbourne Renegades.
The Strikers will now be without Peter Siddle, as he was called for international duty.
They are also without Colin Ingram, who is not part of the team this year.
The Scorchers' batsmen Cam Bancroft, Mitch Marsh and Liam Livingstone were in very good form, the first two scoring 2 fifties and the third one a 29-run.
Also, the Scorchers have a world class bowling line up, with Chris Jordan, J. Richardson, Fawad Ahmed and Ashton Agar.
Bet: Perth Scorchers @1.92
