Trying both early matches and will take it from there. The average time for first home goal conceded by Brighton is 56min. I expect the match to be tight but Chelsea should score. Villa have looked pretty tetchy recently and they are facing Woods and Barnes today who can put it about a bit. Was thinking home penalty but will take the lesser odds.

Thanks KT, painful that the one that misses involves a side that have conceded so so many this season.

Hate backing the Gooners, but fancy them under the lights. Thought they dominated large parts of the Chelsea game and United can be anything away. Betway UK have a nice offer where you back a team to win and if they score first then it's payed out as a winner. Can put a score on it, so a good option if you fancy a couple of quid on either team.

Think I’ve tried to ride this Liverpool goals bet a few too many times. Been golden to me in 2019 but it’s frustrating as hell to watch teams put 10 in defence against Liverpool even when 1-0 down. Just becomes keep ball, and sadly quite boring.

Australian A-League
Melbourne City vs Western United

This is a new derby in the A-League, as Western United was founded this year in Melbourne.
They played once this season, when City won away to Western Utd 2-1.

These two teams fight for top 3 spots, but they are both coming into this match with poor recent results.

City lost their last two, the second one away to Sydney (1-2), although Sydney played in 10 men for 65 minutes.
Western United drew away to WS Wanderers and then lost at home 1-3 against Wellington.
Western have problems with their squad, as they have some injuries, a player has just left the club and they need some defenders, but they'll have to wait a little while longer to get a new signing.

Based on the declarations from their coach, City are expected to play with intensity and win this game. They have the players to do it and they should be able to bounce back.

In the first match there were many cards, and this being a derby, both teams fighting for a better play-off spot (giving a home final or not), I expect at least 4 cards.

I also expect City to win, but this being a derby, they may not win it at 2 goals difference, as Western are motivated to fight too, and City have a leaky defence.
I should go for goals as well, but with the missings in the Western team, and City in a bounce back situation, they may take better care at the back.

Australian A-League

Wellington Phoenix vs CC Mariners

Phoenix are in great form, they haven't lost in seven matches now, with 4 wins and 3 draws. They are now on 6th and are aiming higher.
They extended contracts to four players, to ensure continuity at the club and now they are focused on climbing the ladder and get themselves in a good position to go for the title.
They are coming into this match from a great 3-1 win away to Western United, who are on 4th.

The Mariners are in a patchy form right now, as they lost 5 of their last 7 and 3 of their last 4. They struggle to find the net, but this is something their coach should have addressed for this match.
The thing is the Mariners have played two or three games less than 3 teams that are above them. They are sitting on 10th out of 11 teams now, and they need to start winning if they want to be in with a chance to the play-offs.

Phoenix don't have a very tight defence, they concede regularly, so I'll go for some goals here and a Phoenix win.

Sydney FC vs Adelaide United

Sydney are runaway leaders, they are in devastating form, they win even when they play in 10. They have only one draw and one defeat in 11 matches, their draw being away to Wellington Phoenix 2 weeks ago.

Adelaide are fighting for a play-off spot (top 6), they are 5th at the moment (chance to drop to 6th if Wellington wins their match - playing at the time of writing).

Adelaide are coming from two consecutive defeats and they need to stop this slide. One thing to note is that they scored in every match this season.

I'm going for goals here.
