That try of Cook's at the end was just sublime. To have that much pace left at the end of a frenetic game is just superhuman!

Raiders has been there, done that (beat storm last year) and they look so much stronger now than last year!
Storm is... Storm.. They can be really invincible but defence can be shaky at times.
If munster is healthy I would say storm can sneak one in..
But leaning towards Raiders+6 right now.
Waiting in quill's input!!

Both teams to score 16 points or more @1.91
Raiders +5.5 @2
I also think George Williams will have another pot today so:
Successful Drop Goal @4.5

Storm are good, yes, we all know it, and they may very well win this, but the Raiders are very good too and they can stay within a converted try, if they are to lose.
They were impressive in the way they defeated the Roosters, who were so bent on winning.
Two quality sides, it would be a shame if one of them won by more than a converted try.

The new rules lead to points when two good teams play and these are two very good attacking teams.
Bet 3: Total Points Over 42.5 @1.91

Just think their superior pedigree and finals experience will edge it......expecting a very tight game though

Dear oh dear how wrong was I here.
Really sublime performance from storm yesterday!
At this rate it will be hard to stop them.
On to today's match,
I believe Bunnies break the Panthers streak here.
I'm taking the +6 at 1.90
The bunnies are coming into the match with real good form off the previous game and it will take a huge deal of effort to beat them.
What are your thoughts guys?

Looking at last night's game, it could mean Panthers -7.5.
In the meantime, sportsbet.com.au moved it to +/-8.0 @1.90.
I am taking them to win, though, HT/FT @1.83.
Both teams are high scoring and they start fast. They are among the top four highest scoring teams, so an over should be in order here.
Bet 1: Panthers HT/FT @1.83
Bet 2: HT Over 20.5 points @1.95
Bet 3: FT Over 43.5 points @1.91

I think the week off has been an advantage for the Storm and Panthers.
They will be fresh and defensively the most difficult for the bunnies.

It's time for the Grand Final ladies and gentlemens. Who from Penrith or Melbourne will be crowned this year? Answer Sunday noon. I see a very close game. As Michael Jordan said: "Attack wins games, defense wins titles". This is also true in NRL. Penrith and Melbourne are the two best defenses this season, they are the ones in the Finals. I expect a hooked game because it's a final, the players will give everything. The weather will be rainy in Sydney this weekend with a lot of wind, which shouldn't help the attacks produce good offensive action. Watch the H2H for these two teams: 21-14, 2-32, 16-22, 28-6, 24-6, 52-10, 0-20, 20-4, 10-24, 18-17, 11- 14, 12-10 (I stopped in 2013). Always close, tense and hungry matches. Few points.
I take the under in very good confidence here.

Joined the unders train too
All logic points to narrow Storm win, but just have a nagging feeling the Panthers will edge it, so have added Panthers 1-12 @ 3.50

Lots of bad luck for the Panthers, including at least one wrong call.

NSW looks to be really strong again this year, so strong that even the likes of murray and haas are benched
QLD's bench looks really average as compared to the blues'
I will be taking NSW -7.5 @1.95 for 1 unit
just because whilst i think the blues are really strong on paper,
so were they last year and we all know how game 1 went last year.

However with Bennett at the helm I expect QLD to keep it tight initially. Blues to ease to a comfortable victory in the end.
Betting 2nd half cap NSW -4 @ 1.91

Horrendous 2nd half performance by the Blues, didnt fire a shot.
Looked bereft of leadership and lacking in desire.
Love Gutho, but he's not a centre.
Bennett outcoached Freddie hands down there with a vastly inferior bunch of players!

Who on this forum keeps saying that rugby is in the coaching?
We could see that easily in the second half as Wayne Bennett could not wait to go to the sheds to do the half time talk to his team. He knew what he saw and he knew what he had to do.
The Blues were atrocious. Qld kept them quiet an entire second half.

NSW may win tonight, but the handicap is huge. Also the total points is big, and given the importance of this match, I'm taking the plus and the unders.
Bet 1: Qld +11.5 @1.83
Bet 2: Under 40.5 @1.85
