R1 - Hardwired 33/1 ew, weighted to places. Stable comments suggest price simply too big but lots of money for hot-pot fave.
R2 - Fateful Mistress 12/1 ew. Has drifted in the betting but i can't ignore a decent jock up and plum draw. Formline from debut 2nd is very strong.
R3 - Predator 10/1 ew. Good debut when came from last to finish well (winning form says 'no strong finish' which is an error), had it all to do that race from a poor draw, much better position this time out.
R4 - Seoul 10/1 ew. 2yr old but gets benefit of having stregthened up last few months. 4kg swing vs some average 3yr olds should bring him into contention.
R5 - Run to Denmark 6/1. Excellent win at course last time out, if has been kept fit rates a big danger and tends to go well after a break of racing.

R6 Trip to Africa 14/1 ew, feels big, rated highly by yard, good run last time out and will prefer this track i feel.
R7 Tough race to find the right one so i'll default to Drier yard, Walterthepeniless 8/1 ew, but not a confident pick.
R8 Sanskrift 15/1 ew. Has run some promising races since moving to KZN, jockey sticks with her. Upset material.
R10 Ronnie Rocket 28/1 for a big upset in last, trainer has nack of winning final race and this one does pop up now and then.
good racing.

A couple for racing today in Race 7 at Kenilworth
You may think I have lost my mind in lockdown
Exclusive Trader @ 40/1
What a Winner @ 80/1
First ET on previous runs over 1000m and with huge weight swing to Russet Air should be a lot closer. Also had more than decent runs after breaks.
WAW has seemed to go off the boil, but has such a light weight and has beaten favs before as well. With 52.5kg only surely worth a go. Also seems to like the softer going, and with going good to soft. Hoping might pop up.
Worth a shot at those odds.

KT did you notice the form of Bass Robinson yard today? Seem to have their whole stable in very fit condition, will be looking to fire their runners on weekend.

Snaith stable still hasn't seemed to come out of slump from before lockdown. Will be interesting to see how his horses have taken to the change of scenery in Durbs.
Bring on the weekend.

Race 1 - Samara @ 20/1
Hasn't shown much in the 1st 3 runs, but get decent work rider and good draw. Stable companion fav but think once could surprise. Last run wasn't the best and breeding suggests could win. Worth ago for me rather than fav due to draw and lets be honest, anything could happen in Work Riders races
Race 2 - Due Delilgence @ 5/1 & War of Athena @ 22/1
Any of 5 looks like could win and with 2 year olds different improvement at different rates. I will be taking a small punt on Due Diligence.
WOA lightly raced, last run behind Dubawi Princess wasn't embarrassed and getting 3kg for 3.5l beating, with some improvement could pop up.
Race 3 - Elusive Woman @ 8/1
Really light mass and decent record up against the other fav's
Race 4 - Secret Glider @ 14/1
Top 2 in the betting look hard to beat but I like this one, first time over distance and on last run looks like it could enjoy the step up in distance.
Race 6 - Wild Date @ 25/1 & Saragon @ 14/1
I just think WD is huge value. 2 wins over distance and yes a huge step up, but definitely worth a shot at 25's
Saragon, beat fav Return Flight by 2 lengths last run, and no change in weights to me means should be close tomorrow
Race 7 - Pomander @ 20/1
Yes Summer Pudding looks hard to beat, but I am looking for a surprise, won well over 2400 before and yes according to ratings out, but De Kock stable known to ride to the top on these days.
Race 8 - Soqrat @ 5/1
King over 1600m, and Hawaam to temperemental for my liking, will take my chances
Enjoy the days racing and look forward to your thoughts

R10 Alibi Guy 5/1. Looks very promising sort, liked the stable comments, good weight and draw. Shango formline is strong who he beat giving 2kg.
Massive runner today IMHO.

R6 - Perfect Tirgress 14/1 and Wild Date 33/1. Looks a race for a possible upset, PT has blinkers off and plum draw, WD as kt says definitely looks suited to step up in trip.
R7 - Victoria Paige 3/1 a bit short for me so win only and for some small doubles. Unlucky last time out and Tarry will have her ready today.
R8 - Queen Supreme 9/1 and Tierre del Fuego 20/1 ew. Staying loyal to QS, think she'll be bouncing today. TFG looks overpriced with top jock up.
R9 - Leopold 5/1 ew. Liked way stayed on last time and looks a figher.
good racing.

Yes typical my shortest priced bet of day is 3/1 tarry runner in next. Worrying stable form.

Yeah, guessing the break was really not in there favour. Also can't blame change in Jocks as 2 stable jacks still up in JHB for now. Will be interesting to see if any of JHB jocks make move down to Durban in terms of only 1 move allowed during lockdown Stage 3

Race 8 - Hero's Honour @ 50/1
Yes out at the weight but good Course & Distance record and if any of the top 3 fluff there lines, has a chance to upset I think.
Race 9 - Cornish Pomodoro @ 20/1
Know the stable thought very highly of him and started off well. If ignore last run and stables poor form, must be in with a chance and on breeding distance shouldn't be a problem.
Race 10 will probably follow you South with Albi Guy, and maybe Exacta with Chitengo.

Brent Graham wrote: Great run from Queen Supreme there South considering having to come from stone last - your roughie runs into 4th
Agree Brent, I have a real soft spot for her, top class and a big runner for me in July as think Hawwaam maybe exported by then.
33/1 ante-post with Sunbet, low risk at that price, had a go.

That is a nice price South for Ante as doubt she will be exported. Do you think they will be exporting Soqrat as well?

R4 To The Max 7/2. Formline goods with one coming out to win earlier in week. Nothing too good in this field.
R5 - Startlightempress 15/1 ew. 2nd run since moving yards, has 2 wins under belt and good draw with a deceny jock up today.
R6 - Desolate Road 18/1 ew. Remember being on him when touched off under same jock a few runs ago, trying again today.
R7 Bunker Hunt 10/1 ew, (2/1 place). Needs further but think he could run on strongly late, has won over 1200 and 1600 and not up in KZN for a holiday.
R8 pOINT of Sales 25/1 just because price way too big.

Race 7 - Priceless Ruler @ 55/1
Out at the weights and huge step up in class but decent Greyville runs, and likes the 1400m.
Also followed with Bunker Hunt
Race 8 - Mary O - 75/1
All to do and huge step up in class, but again a local horse and seems to like running fresh. Can't hurt at those odds
Race 9 - Wild Coast @ 18/1
If anything like his mother will love Greyville and worth a go at those odds. Has run well over distance finishing not far behind Kilindini previously. Will follow with your Padre Pio and swingers
Enjoy the racing.
