Looks like a weekend of quality rugby ahead

Super Rugby AU final

I gather there was some +6.5 Reds early but line currently Brumbies -2.5

Also Mitre 10 Cup week 2 action

I am more toward Brumbies to win @1.72 now, there are some injury concerns for the Reds and Brumbies will have fans back in stadium even partially for the Grand final. In general, I like playing the opposite team for a rematch and Reds won 2 weeks back, I am sure Brumbies will be a different beast at home for the final.

Do we know if ABs can play on MITRE this week end and the rules around minutes management for them?

As stated last week, here are my 2 early bets on the Champions Cup

Clermont vs Racing : Racing +6 @ 1.91 on Skybet : despite being an away game for Racing, I can’t see why there are underdogs by 6 points here. I have not been impressed at all by Clermont, losing in Bayonne this weekend and winning by 3 points against 13 men vs Toulouse. On the other hand, Racing get a win away in Lyon (can’ see many teams winning there this year) and they easily won against a disappointing Montpellier side Friday night and I must say I have been impressed by them Friday night despite not putting their best team. Beale will be out as he got a red card but Chavancy, Zebo, Thomas and Palu should be back which mean a full squad available. There is always a “surprise” in the quarter final with an underdog winning away and I reckon this could be the Racing.

Exeter vs Northampton : Exeter -12.5 @ @1.83 on Ne-Bet : This is a no brainer for me – Saints have been one of the worst team since rugby is back – could not score a point yesterday against 13 then 12 Tiger mens and despite 4 yellow cards in the game and not being a decent squad, Tigers managed to win that game quite easily. Then you have Exeter, one of the best European team for the past 2/3 years, that won at Saints few weeks ago with its second squad, that smashed those same Saints by 50 points back in February and that have rested its best players for the game on Saturday. With a dry forecast for the game, I can’t see that Saints team staying within that handicap

Taken a Champions Cup acca:
Leinster win
Racing +6
Toulouse win
Exeter win
@ 3.60

No strong feel on Clermont v Racing, but have taken Bradie's input on board - I can see the line is on its way in also.

Hi all -- I'm a new contributor, but have been a big fan of this forum for some time.

I really like Toulouse to win the 1st Half vs Ulster at the weekend.

2/5 currently available on Betfair.

Ulster are notoriously slow starters this season (including in recent Pro14 Semi-Final vs Edinburgh), and I expect Toulouse to come out raring to go after a couple of decent Top 14 performances.

Hi bradie, Boylesports is the only one I believe. I really like it as a market for hookers - the price is usually 2.5x that of the anytime odds, and hookers tend to only play 55 minutes anyway!

Like Taranaki +14.5 tomorrow. Feel it will be closer than 2 converted tries, their rolling maul was good vs BOP and Barrett brothers should be more settled after last weeks outing.

Canterbury strong on paper but didn't impress me vs Harbour for large parts of 80min.

Based on last night show, taking

Taranaki +19 @ 1.70 on Gentingbet - this is a shield and this odd is very high as I expect a closer game than the bookies see
Brumbies on the board @ 1.70 on Gentingbet - agree with SOAP on that one
Perpignan -14.5 @ 1.93 on Novibet - small punt on that one but I can see Rouen struggling tonight

For me the biggest value is Leicester @1.50, Castres rotating their pack and going again with the has been 9-10 pairing between Urda and Kockott. Leicester going full strength that’s the main objective of their season they should outclass them everywhere + strong bench. Leicester x Toulouse @1.80 on max play

French Pro D2

Perpignan vs Rouen
Bet : Perpignan -1.5 (Most Tries Handicap) 1.61 Bet365

First game of the season for Rouen, they had two games canceled because of COVID-19 (Carcassonne and Colomiers), a difficult beginning for them in a stadium like Aimé Giral which will be filled with 5,000 people for this evening.

Statement from the hooker and club captain of Rouen:

Didn't the preparation conditions disturb you too much? ''

“It’s true that they weren't optimal, as we only had one real collective training before setting up yesterday. There are some players who haven't really been able to play rugby in the last few weeks. Physically, we may not be at the top, but we were able to work on the game plan, we know where we are going. We're not going to make excuses. "

Perpignan, which did not take any points in Biarritz, sees a great opportunity to take 5 points. In France, it takes three tries of gaps for the offensive bonus.

Shot Brent and nice one the lads on show, I hadn’t seen show when adding my Taranaki post yesterday morning but very happy there was alignment!

Nice start to day, Brumbies fast start would be very welcome.

Agree, just Etzebeth should be back and Carbonel fit to start moving back Serin at 9. My initial cap was 6.5 so still a value. Bordeaux is also appealing at 7.5 BUT the week after is Top14 and I am not sure that Urios will go 3 times with his first 15. Good thing is that Bordeaux has almost 2 teams with similar level
