All Racing Tips w/c 21st September

Was a strange week , racing is ticking over but just can't seem to get a run of decent picks atm. The rugby thread is as hot as hell though and the picks have been quite outstanding , keep it up boys.

Poly Track Durban

Race 1.
Whispers for Karin B in the first, has had a fair few starts but this is a very weak race and at 12/1 and 22/10 a place I'll have a go. Must be Love from the Fortune satellite stable and first start , they been in form of late and with Abe up instead of Marcus it was probably due the price . So at 18/10 probably worth my main punt. ( important change is Marcus replaces Godden on Kinskys Tune and no blinkers , becomes a tougher race. ) ( the first timer blowing in the betting , sticking with Karin B )

Race 2.
Lightning Spirit almost landed the gamble last time , 12/1 down to 3/1. Drawn a little wide, stable mate Predator also a big danger . I feel the winner will come from these two. 3/1 and 2/1.

Race 3.
Apprentice handicap, these can spring results. Pina Colada gets a good claimer , likes the track but is 7 years old. Respect though and small play at 5/2. Also fancy the ex Kimberley star Top Salute at 12/1 eachway.

Race 4.
Weak maiden again and Capriccio is my first choice at 11/2, gives away start but a small play only.

Race 5.
Gentleman's wager one of two rides for the hot in form Marcus at 2/1. Def the one to beat I'd say . narrow first choice from Teichman 7/2 next best.

Race 6.
Backed Hamam last time when second and think he should be right there at 3/1, Another apprentice handicap and will follow and old fiance in Dom Seguidor at 20/1 and 9/2 a place first 3.

Race 7.
Giving another old fiance Starlight another chance today , 10/1 a win and 17/10 a place. Most of her competitors are ex kimberley and she has a good chance here.

Race 8.
Quite a few with chances here and a result is very possible, I'll be including a few at big odds, Bright Flame 10/1., Great Dictator at 14/1 and I have to include Naomi at 6/1 after been given a very poor ride last time out.

Play Well

Race 5.
Including Run to Denmark now at 9/1. eachway as my main bet, covering with Gentlesman Wager .

Much better Day yesterday and hoping to continue the trend.

Race 1.
Grooms race and very weak, going to lean towards Evoke, an unknown new stable but could appreciate the mile and third run after a rest . 12/1. Respect for Tarry's second favourite Peace Diamond who has had just the one run and could improve to win this 28/10.

Race 2.
Support for Lucky's horse and has to be respected 3/1., my narrow first choice . Parrallax.
Cold Fusion could improve a lot here and is my next choice.

Race 3.
Patons Tears is welll bred and comes from Lucky's stable as well and makes the debut . Now around the evens and better mark. Once again huge respect and I'll watch the horses going to start before I make any call. Swiss bank at 22/10 has teh form and it looks a race bteween the 2 on the betting front. Meet the Captain is my place fancy.

Race 4.
San Andreas gets fitted with blinkers and I'll observe on the way down. If they have the desired effect then he's the one to beat at 17/10. Otherwise Racing man 20/1 eachway. ( I see the fav doesn'thave blinkers )

Race 5.
Bingwa very unlucky last time and probably should have won. Murray's only ride but I just can't have the stable at that price.
Will be taking him on with In abundance and more so Gav's Angel at 6/1 and 11/1.

Race 6.
I put the baby of Palace Green last time and is the one to beat , just a little weary this time around I'll take some 22/10 or better probably, Littlewood will be running on , but think the danger could lye with Custom Made who won his maiden very well last time out at 7/1.

Race 7.
Sammi Moosa runs her 85th race today, a model of consistency. I wouldn't take 5/2 though. Pink bounced back to form well last start and is a narrow first choice though for smalls. 9/2.
Plum Field 7/1. and Our Biscuit next best 40/1.

Race 8.
Very open with a lot of speedy fillies , draw is a factor possibly . First choice Winter Watch 12/1 , also chances to Ulla 9/2. , Before the Dawn 6/1. and Capitiano. 14/1.

Race 9.
Another sprint to end the day. Note the draw bias if there is any from the previous. Persica won very well las time and I think she can go in again at 7/2. Also chances to the Magner trio and hear the Trumpet 16/1.

Play well

Greyville on the Poly.

Race 1.
Thin race , not too keen on this favourite here , but neither the second fav. Perhaps Macmillan offers some value around 7/1. Gazza Gallop also not without a hope 16/1.

Race 2.
Vison tp Glory can go close here , 20/1 and gets a 4kg claimer . Also Valencia can upset 20/1.

Race 3.
All the talk about the Silver Fox Dog and has a good chance 28/10. My first fancy is Cardboard Cowboy at 11/2 and and Cyclonic Breeze 7/1.

Race 4.
Open race , but like the reserve runner Everdene, currently 7/1 .

Race 5.
Really like Twice as Smart today. Back on the poly and having a full go each way 8/1 and 15/10 a place first 3.

Race 6.
Open sprint, Casino Queen narrowly 4/1 , also and Linnear 10/1, 7/1 and Hopskipandjump.

Race 7.
Favourite Double Rainbow all the talk and healthy respect at 2/1. Pantsula 12/1 the danger.

Race 8.
Somewhere in Time has been very disappointing and I'll avoid, First Sighting 6/1 and Silver Dazzle my fancies 12/1.

LOTUS KING 14/1 ew race 1 fairview. Feel this is a bit of value, no world beaters in field, fairly solid debut on poly last time and top jock strike should add further improvement.

Honda lads, nice to see South posting a PE fancy, will be following with interest.

My Saturday tips.
Joburg

Race 1.
Thumbs Up has had a few chances and beaten fav a couple of times. She takes on the boys and an older filly. Trattoria , Tarry stable, 4 yr old filly, winner on Thursday with the stable, preferred at 7/2.

Race 2.
Expecting huge improvement from Inherit the Rain 3/1, first choice. Somasonic must also be resepcted if supported in the market 5/1.

Race 3.
Electric Boots should go very close 22/10 , though I feel the stable may begin to wane after enjoying a month of excellent results. Fantastical is nicely bred and could be a springer at 7/1.. Otherwise Stroydom on Icognito could be running on at 6/1. from a poor draw.

Race 4.
Very open race , fancy Winning Queen as a fair each way bet 13/1 and 22/10 first 3.

Race 5.
Interesting race, Gin Fizz fell over the line last time out despite looking like she'ed win easy and is a highly strung filly, takes on boys here and will find it tough. Got an eye on KT's Oravar 20/1 and 3/1 a place, real fancy is Gimme a Wave 11/2.

Race 6.
Some fair 3 year olds top the boards here. I backed Captain M last time in Durbs but was found wanting late. Price might be a little skinny. Copper Mountain is my first choice at 12/1 and also Bowie 7/2.

Race 7.
Southern Charm looks the right one 2/1, but insurance with Glowtoria 9/2.

Race 8.
Way of the World beat the boys last time and is really gutsy , leaning towards Blonde Vision though 11/2.

Race 9.
The get out stakes, In Full Bloom eachway at 11/1 and 22/10 first 3.

Little bit of rain yesterday and now sure if Durbanville got a fair amount or not .

Race 1.
A fair number of scratchings including the original favourite Somerset M, First choice is Futuras Hope at 7/1, drawn widest but at 11 maybe not as bad after the scratchings, also Chauels Camelot could run a place at 28/10 and better first 4 Hollywood.

Race 2.
All over the Gatekeeper here , currently 18/10 but think this will win. Divergent, well bred and at 4/1 first 4 worth an interest.

Race 3.
Lite of my Life first choice 18/10. Empire Glory places at 6/1.

Race 4.
lady Catherine 9/2 in an open race . Respect for the fav Artic Ice, now 3/1 after opening 9/2.

Race 5.
Tricky race, prefer Social Butterfly 5/2, and Captains Flo at 6/1.

Race 6.
Race in 2 for me, have been waiting for Dark Crystal to find her true potential, she appears to have breathing problems though. Race in 2 for me though and including Roll in the Hay both at 9/2.

Race 7.
Love Happens all the rage at 16/10, def the one to beat and a confident first choice. Including Cedar Man 25/1.

Race 8.
The two three year old's top the boards and have huge potential, though I'm gonna go with Rockin Ringo, good appie up and claiming 4kg, very unlucky not to win his penultimate run. 7/1.

Race 9.
Marmalisa been punted into evens, I managed to get some 16/10 and am holding on to it. A moment apart my big place roughie at 6/1. first 3

Race 1 - Grand Vision @ 25/1
Well drawn now with the scratchings, and whilst doesn't look like stable elect, not sure anywhere after Fav scratching. Favs deawn wide, worth ago. Based on brreding looking for this trip and some more than decent half siblings.

Race 2 - with you coil on Divergent @ 50/1 now

Race 3 - Camps Bay @ 12.5/1
Breed for speed even though doesn't look like stable elect.

Race 4 - Casa Rosada @ 11/2
Last run in good going was impressive and finished ahead of some decent sorts. If handles the turn should be close

Race 5 - Future Tense @ 8/1
Fav looks tough to beat but at weight turn around FT should be close.

Race 6 - Bad Habit @ 7/1
Super light weight and good form. Also like Look to. Impressive first win by 9. Yes work riders but still impressive.

Turffontein
Race 1 & 2
Followed South for an Interest.

Race 2 - The Cape Dream @ 25/1
Some more than decent siblings and with light weight could run a place. Stable every so often has the big outsider.

Race 5 - Valbonne @ 7/1

Good value, he's much better than last outing, loves this distance and Azzie yard going ok.

T6 Gold Season 33/10 win Hollywood.
Tipped this one when won, not a bad effort in feature last time, interesting jockey booking.

One for me so far today -

R8 Instinctive Power 16/1 ew. Form line strong from last effort, back on the turf and just looks a bit of value for an in form yard.

Greyville on the Turf.

Race 1.
Very thin race, Alwaysonmymind drawn wide, gets a claimer and decent stable, could surprise 14/1.

Race 2.
The word is all for Captain Oupie, good forms lines . Should be tough to beat . But Kayson 6/1 and Bold Horizen 14/1 could give plenty cheek.

Race 3.
Pinch Me all the rage here as well to give the nathan kotzen team a double. But Q for you and Cool apache big runners here , so will include all three and Ruby Cove for places.

Race 6.
Galway very impressive on the Poly last time out , if reproduces on the grass the one to beat . 5/2.. Also give outside chances to Silver Cent 16/1 and Knight Warrior 11/1.

Race 7.
What a Blast bounced back to form last time out, drawn wide but worth a look at 7.1,

Race 8.
Will join South with Instinctive Power 16/1 and Red Rock Canyon 14/1.

Race 1 - Soller @ 16/1
Stable companion to yours Coil. I was trying to decide which one to go with lol. I like the breeding of both and don't need to be superstars in Durban.

Race 2
Backed Captian last time and will stick with him. I also like Bold Horizon but on a line through Garralous sjould be held.

Race 4 Twice the Flight @ 40/1
Won maiden on Course and distance. Bit of a step up but got a decent weight and stable in form as South says.

Race 6 - Silver Cent @ 20/1 & Captian Turk @ 14/1
With Coil on SC.
Also really like CT as had more than decent Cape Form. Ran close to decent sort of Azores.

Race 7 - Admiral Guest @ 14/1
Very open race and loves the cut in the ground. Well drawn. Will be running at them.
