Race 1 - La Banquirre @ 22/1 (WSB)
Race 3 - Six Hills Giant @ 25/1

Form for both is poor, but both well bred. LB full sister to Mombela who was a decent sprinter for Tarry yard and stable comment on website says expecting better. Also gets services of top Jock.

SHG is full brother to Doublemint and will be looking for further but worth ago again, don't want to miss out since backed the 1st 2 times.

Race 2.
Preference for Cool Apache at 14/10 , Corsage was eye catching last time flying late , but then is sold by Sukkie de Kock to Cliffie Millar , could run a place 18/10.

Race 3.
Very open, Scarlet Chill 8/1 , Red Al 12/1 and Silva Magic 7/1 alll included .

Race 4.
Top are 3 year olds and have improved with blinkers , preference for Maitland Magic at 7/2 but if the tope 2 are beaten it's an open race with older horses all in with a chance of winning .

Race 5.
Deep Thought has produced multiple winners and is respected 22/10 but is a filly, Dandolo is teh one to beat having run against stronger , 16/10 a little skinny though and a small bet advised.

Race 6.
Socrates 3/1 a confident selection from Ad Altisima 4/1.

Race 7.
the 2 three year olds stand out here for me , Higher purpose at 3/1 and teh Ghan 7/2, preference for the latter .

I see the Goodforthegame Syndicate silks to feature in the Vaal R2 on Monday. I think the extra 200m will suite judging from the debut race. Good luck to the connections.

Race 2 - Bartholdi @ 40/1 & Sea Virescent @ 5/1
Bartholdi half brother to top sprinter Bohica running later by Act of War who has proven to for me to be quite a good stallion
SV - Full brother to the fast Gimme me a Wave, price has come in and got top stabe and Jock combo in its favour at moment.
But cant put you off you Bold Jazz either EN. might play a quartet boxing the following: 2/3/4/5/7/12/15. WIll be for a percentage.

Race 4 - Louis Gem @ 8/1
Top last run when beating some top horses and running close behind top Tarry Filly. Bit of concern with Jock as doesn't look like stable elect, but think has room for improvement

Race 5
Some very strong looking 3 year old's for MDK yard, Anyone looks like could win,

Race 6 - War of Athena @ 11/10
Has been very good to me and will stick with her. Wide draw but hopefully Jock can work it out.

Race 7 - Victoria Paige @ 16/1
Well weighted and well drawn for a change. Cant get hurt at those odds in open race.

Race 8 - Invisible @ 9/2
Stable comments positive and think should be close

Race 9 - Winter Storm @ 30/1 & Bold Ransom @ 10/1

Race 4 - Dragon Power @ 14/1
Very open race, and if stable comments correct doing decent work. Has had decent drop in ratings and gets extra from appie claim.

Race 6 - Peaceful Day @ 14/1
Coming up againest 2 decent sorts in Lions Head and Al's my Daddy, but if you look at early form before all the runs in wet, was more than impressive, also will be racing fit where 2 fav's will be looking to bigger things.

Race 1
Fiorinto all the rage has been backed off the boards , Sukkie de kok has been good with his first timers when punted but instead of a straight bet taking the double with War of Athena . Around 26/10.

Race 3.
Really strong maiden race , preference for Lucy Belle at 9/2 but a race's formlines to follow.

Race 4.
Estatic Green the one to beat but givin 2kg to the rest will make it hard , backed due diligence last time and was left chewing a lemon at what was an awful ride. No bet for me here and will load .

Race 6.
War of Athena tough draw like KT mentioned , I'll be happy with my double if the first one arrives , places Gavel Strike top 5 9/2.

Race 7.
Tierra de Fuego , at Hollywood ..evens first 6 ...fire !!!

Race 8.
Dance class gts the blinkers , could have further improvement . I prefer the top weight Saragon but has a tough task 7/1.

Race 9.
Bold ransom big chance after the scratching and ill prefer the straight at 9/2.

Race 10.
Fact eachway , 28/1 and 11/2 first 5 with Holly.

Great thoughts guys, top racing today, my fancies –

R4 Tanzanite Queen 15/1.
Tough race this with many top sorts, but looking for an upset and always have respect for this yard on big days. 2nd run after move from Cape, expecting big improvement here.

R6 Afternoon Tea 8/1.
Always close up in good company, should be cherry-ripe today and I think ew might be the value here to give hot fave some cheek.

R7 Tree Tumbo 16/1.
Was hoping this one got in, I think is turning into a decent horse. Light mass and course/distance suited, could be a lurker in yard for me.
Magic School also 16/1.
Adding her in, she's a real trier and eye-catching jock switch.

R8 Hearts Swings 11/2.
Been knocking on door, good jock change today and handy mass to gallop out front.

R9 Singforafa 9/1.
Was punted off the boards on July day but didn’t perform. Goes well fresh, like her today.

Hope you got some swingers and stuff in that race 2 KT !! Top call

Not enough time to go through , but in the last karoo Winter my best of the day 18/10.

Race 6 - Rain Dance @ 16/1
Beaten fav previously in maidens and last run behind Shareholder and Native Tongue I thought he ran above his rating, worth ago at those odds

Race 7 - Rise as One @ 10/1
Had 2 very good wins in Jhb and last one super impressive over Savior who came out to frank the form next time out. Also half sister to top sort Divinne Odyssey so should be able to get distance.

Race 8 - Someone exciting @ 17/2

Filly was right there, to be honest think the wet got the better of her, would have finished closer but no one was going to beat winner.
