Overall a good weekend for me with Lions overs (newsletter best bet) Australian unders and Sharks overs my main plays - got a bit fortunate with the Bulls v Stormers unders void and gave some back on unders in France v Ireland

Here are my projected caps for next weekends Super Rugby Unlocked

Sharks +3.5 v Cheetahs )not sure if books will make Cheetahs favs but I would)
Griquas +15.5 v Stormers
Lions +5.5 v Bulls

Not sure if Aus v Nzl cap is out but I predict

Aus +16.5 v NZL

Does anyone know when 6 nations player of championship is named and how decided? Have what seems like an eternity ago betting interest on Ntamac @ 20/1. Although I feel his teammate DuPoint might be the favourite.

First bookies to come out with a cap on Aus NZ for me is sportsbet at +13.5, was hoping for more of an overreaction and jumping on a +18ish but at 13.5 I'm quite hesitant. Aussie's have done better in Brisbane historically, but betting against the ABs is always difficult. As the fellas on the show said, if you're with the ABs you're always in the bet which also means if you're against them that you're never quite home. Could just look at overs plays on points for involvement

France to win the Autumn Nations Cup at 8/1.

2 horse race for me and the permutations of the tournament seem that France will likely play England in the final at Twickenham on 6 December.

With no crowd and France in red hot form, it's great value.

Hi everyone, back after a week off. Sharing the H we have on MITRE here:

Southland - Otago (+9.5)
Auckland - Northland (-25.5)
North Harbour - Counties (-14.5)
Tasman - Canterbury (-12.5)
HB - Wellington (+4.5)
Waikato - BOP (-5.5)
Manawatu - Taranaki (+12.5)

I am going for an early bet on Waikato speculating for BOP to rotate their team as they host NH next week for a must win match. NH -14.5 as well as they will go for BP win and HB +4.5 with less confidence. Rest would I will not touch without lineup (Auckland may rotate a bit for example)

GL everyone

I would be careful on France to win the tournament - yes that team is good but there is an agreement to have players involved in only 3 of the 6 games (being in the 23 squad counts as 1) which mean you will have a totally different team at least 3 games out of 4 and if an inexperienced squad goes to Scotland, not sure they ll win there

I don’t see why BOP would rest players for this one, they have a chance to both get out of the relegation zone and place themselves in contention for the semis, should they win.

I think it will be wise to wait for starting lineups and getting an accurate gauge on the weather-the weather played a big role last round, with only one game exceeding 50 plus

    Just found this
The French rugby federation (FFR) and the league (LNR) have reached an agreement over the players’ availabilities for this autumn’s test matches, both the FFR and the LNR said on Thursday.

According to the agreement, 31 players will be made available for the six matches France are scheduled to play, although one player will not be allowed to feature in more than three games.

Team to play Fiji (if the game goes on as there are few Fijian players impacted by Covid) will be announced today and the rumour is that the staff will keep the same squad so it would mean a totally bran new squad would be playing the last 3 games of the Autumn Cup.

I will share more info once I have them

    Stormers -10.5 vs Griquas.

Storm been woeful in their last two fixtures but this is against a Griquas side that has lost 9 players.

No chance they will manage the Storm set piece.

    Pro 14 tonight:
Weather doesn't look that bad for Cardiff v Ulster 6pm
Game will be played in Newport and Bookies have set a reasonably high cap @46 - 48pts (2 high scoring teams here)
Wait for weather update before pulling trigger on pts
Ulster are humming along but there is no Marcel Coetzee in starting lineup

Zebre got badly beaten at Leinster last time. Still without test team starters, they nonetheless make several changes to last week's side.
Got to assume focus was on this game.
Ospreys beat Glasgow last week and the same 1-8 are turned out. A couple of changes in the backline. Handicap is only Ospreys -5, but I think this is tricky and I won't be getting involved

Leinster are also 5pt favourites on the road. I tend to go overs when teams are playing without test players - eg midfield defences not as up to speed as first XV selections. Pts cap is set at 43-44 pts but rain is forecast so perhaps wait again until later

    3 x Pro14 games on a Monday is strange.
Too tricky for me to play on handicap

    Best of Luck

Agree on the over on this game but this is the third game in a row on that Stadium (soccer Saturday then rugby yesterday) so not sure how the pitch will be, especially with the rain this week end : this to me is a blocker despite forecast that seems alright

    Taken early doors:

    Otago v Southland -10.5
    Aukland v Northland -26.5
North Harbour v County Manakau (No Kieran Reed) -15.5
    1 unit each at Sunbet.

And 2 units All Blacks -14.5
I'm thinking they'll slaughter the Wallabies again, and I expect to be supplementing this bet at higher H/C as week goes on.
