We may be heading into December but still plenty of rugby on the go

The newsletter bet went belly up last week with a freakish Northland try at the death killing us and we will be looking to bounce back this weekend

Overall a good weekend for me with some good in-running plays and a dramatic win on All Blacks over 32.5 points. Gave some back on Leicester and the big disappointment was the Griquas v Lions game abandoned due to lightening as over 45.5 looked nailed on and I was seriously involved in that one

Here are my Currie Cup handicap predictions - no real feel this week and could be well out

Pumas -5.5 v Griquas
Bulls -7.5 v Cheetahs
Lions +1.5 v Stormers

In the Tri Nations Australia take on Argentina and I imagine Australia will be around -9.5

There is Pro 14 tonight

Edinburgh +6.5 v Ulster
Munster -35.5 v Zebre

Lads my Monday night Pro 14 form is not great but I think the current Munster -36.6 v Zebre could shift closer to 40 points

Saw a tweet from CL Rugby that Zebre have had to call up club players

They have also taken massive hidings at home in their last 2 games

Zebre 12 Connacht 47 (35)
Zebre 14 Ulster 57 (43)

They now play top of the table Munster away.

Flying into the -36.5

Betx lines to the right in brackets

Pumas -5.5 v Griquas (opened -3.5 now choice)
Bulls -7.5 v Cheetahs (-10 is 11/10 suggesting money for the plus
Lions +1.5 v Stormers (choice)

Australia -8.5 around what I expected

Did not realise Munster game is not televised and feeling a bit apprehensive about my involvement now

I also think Munster will trash Zebre but will go with points rather than the cap

Munster over 44.5 @ 1.83

The Munster looks very good but a word of caution due Munster making a fair number of changes to their side as well, having said that they really should pound Zebre, I'm on the minus 36.5 but slightly smaller than normal.
The other match I was hoping for plus 7.5 Edinburgh ... currently plus 6.5 . Ulster have been very good of late and look well settled , however I think they'll give a good account of themselves tonight .
Will take the plus 6.5 at worst case and that's my best of the two matches.

I worry for Cheetahs this weekend. Players leaving, many of those that haven't left probably actively looking around. Bulls seem to be playing with confidence and for each other.

Bulls -8.5 jumping out at me.

Munster minus has moved as expected and ibhave seem -38.5 to -40.5 - that was the easy part now the bet must arrive

Disappointed France won't be full strength against England that would have been a cracking game

The Argentine Rugby Union has stripped Pablo Matera of the national captaincy and stood down the flanker and two other players from Saturday's final Tri Nations Test as they investigate "discriminatory and xenophobic" Twitter posts.

 Also hate backing the Ozzies, but with Rennie at the helm and this level of disruption within the Argie camp, I couldn't resist: rolled the dice for a reasonably sized chunk of -8.5... Agree that that cap will grow..

Go you Ozzers :woohoo: :woohoo:

Australia no w-12.5 as predicted, don't think it will go out much further

Currie Cup and Griquas now -2.5 having opened +3.5 - despite the fact that I went Pumas -5.5 this was where I thought (and hoped) the books would go as I fancies a Griquas strike - will probably wait for points lines on that game now

Bulls -8.5 v Cheetahs and Lions +2.5 v WP very much where I forecast

Griquas on the board @ 1.83 to follow Neal

Top 14

A bit of a gamble here but taking Racing +6.5 @ 1.80 vs Bordeaux
Bordeaux will be missing 8 international players (Jalibert, Moefana, Cazeaux, Woki, Petti, Cordero, Kaulashvili, Gorgadze), few players injured (Ducuing, Seuteni) or doubtful (Higginbotham, Cros, Lesgourgues, Roumat, Maynadier) and I expect Racing to bring their best squad, especially international players back, to prepare for the Hcup.

Slight change of heart on this, somewhat in view of the fact Matera & co are now reinstated.
Mood in the camp is positive and all the players are united apparently.
Still a very strong team they've named.
Bet half stake on Arg +14.5
Hoping for a nice middle ;)

Saints +9.5 for me, weather look rainy / humid (classic Friday game) and I expect Northampton to react after 2 losses, good starting XV and stronger bench. Normal handicap should be 5.5 I expect a drop.

I’m on the Māori to beat the Pasifika tomorrow. I expect there to be more cohesiveness in the Māori side, with many having played together before with the NZ Māori side-Hall and Black were the halves pairing for the Māori against Fiji in 2019 for e.g. Meanwhile you have a lot of these Pasifika players coming together for the first time with 1-2 weeks preparation.

Set piece I think will favour the Māori, especially in the lineout, and I think Ash Dixon’s captaincy will be important for the Māori.

Pacifica v Maori All blacks, have gone over 51.5 points, currently 9-7 at HT.

As soon I saw Mike Fraser was reffing and Pickerill on the touch line, I knew I was doomed.

My initial thoughts felt 40.5 points was way too low, possible showers and referee O Keefe generally an average points maker , I just can't back Australia so a small bet on the best plus I can find.

I'm on unders in Dublin at 40.5.
I'm on Sale best minus at London Irish
Looking for best plus Georgia against Fiji
On the best plus Italy for HT against Wales 8.5 or even better 9.5.
