I don't think either are bankers but won't oppose either Chiefs or Pirates in their home games as their opponents are struggling. Perhaps a double on the home wins or for singles that 1 goal winning margin market

Melbourne Victory vs Perth Glory

Victory played two games, home and away, and lost both.
They'll have to push for a win, they have zero points after two rounds.

Perth Glory won one and lost one, with huge scores, 5-3 and 4-5 respectively.

Therefore, I'm going to the Perth Glory well again and bet for goals at both ends of the park.

Bet: BTTS and Over 2.5 @1.83

Not risking any money at St James Park - Anything could happen there.
No statistical basis for my early bet - the teams drew 1-1 at the London Stadium earlier. Just feel West Ham may have a few in them and Palace are not defending as well as they did two months ago.

Liverpool shots opened @ evens 14.5, thought i'd wait to try get around 15/20 on 13.5 ,instead moved to 17/20. Still good value vs UK market, so i'm in again like a sheep -

Sadly the money printing came to a frustrating end. 14 shots at 71 minutes but then as I always fear when Liverpool are well ahead, they play keep ball, and not helped by a truly dreadful Spurs side. Not one shot from then on in.

WS Wanderers vs Newcastle Jets

It's been raining since last night here in Sydney. Don't know how many spectators will show up in this wet weather.

The Jets won their first match of the season 5 days ago and have one win and 4 defeats.

The Wanderers are 3rd on the ladder, with 2 wins 1 draw and 1 defeat. These two teams met 3 weeks ago in Newcastle and the Wanderers won that match 2-1.

The way things are going for these two teams, it is hard to see the Jets winning this one.
In Jets matches there are many corners, so I'll take a stab at over number of corners.

Some rain cautious bets.

Bet 1: Wanderers double chance (1X) & over 1.5 goals @1.72
Bet 2: Over 2.5 goals @1.81
Bet 3: Total corners over 11.0 @1.88

Western Utd vs Melbourne Victory

Both teams won their first match of the season last week against Perth Glory, 3 days apart: Western Utd 5-4 and Melbourne 2-1.

Victory had a huge overhaul during the break, with eight incoming players and the appointment of new head coach Grant Brebner.
Among them there are former Premier League players Ryan Shotton, Rudy Gestede and Callum McManaman.
After their recent wins, both teams will be confident of getting a good result here.

When these two teams play there are generally many corners.
Let's have a look.
In the three matches so far, Western had 20 (13-7 H), 12 (8-4 A) and 11 (8-3 H) corners.
Victory had 13 (8-5 H), 8 (3-5 A) and 12 (5-7 H) corners.

Macarthur vs Sydney

Sydney FC have to bounce back from a shock 2-0 defeat at home (0-2 to Central Coast Mariners) last time out. They have now gone two matches without a win.
For the past few years they've had the best defence in the league and won multiple titles, so now that they conceded 4 goals in 3 matches must be of concern to their head coach, Corica, and he must address these issues.

Macarthur have gone 2 wins and one draw in their first 4 matches, and this will be a very tough test for them.

I think Sydney will not lose here and could get all three points.

Bet: Sydney -0.25 @2.07

Brisbane Roar vs Adelaide Utd

The Roar won two in a row, both away (3-1 at Melbourne Victory and 2-1 at Newcastle Jets). They have a fully-fit squad for this encounter.
Their star striker Dylan Wenzel-Halls scored two goals in his last two games.

Adelaide won 2, drew 1 and lost 1 so far, and the only time they conceded was in their 3-5 defeat away to Perth.
this time they will face a potent attack, but they themselves can put pressure at the other end of the pitch.

I think we'll see goals at both ends of the park.

Central Coast Mariners vs Wellington Phoenix

The Mariners are top of the ladder equal on points and goal difference, 3 wins and 1 loss, while Phoenix are bottom with only one point in three matches, and yet the Mariners are underdogs here.
They have just beaten the champions, Sydney FC, 2-0 away.
I think the Phoenix will try hard to get their first win.

Melbourne City vs Perth Glory

Perth Glory played two matches in Melbourne so far this week, a 4-5 loss to Western United and a 1-2 loss to Melbourne Victory, and in both matches they had the chance to take all three points.
They must be rueing their missed opportunities in these two matches, as they got nothing to show for their efforts.

Melbourne City have two wins and one defeat so far, and last time they played was two weeks ago, a 2-1 win over Western United.

I'm banking on a good effort from Perth Glory to finally get something from their tour of Melbourne, and on goals as well, since they have been a good team for scoring and conceding so far (10-10 in 3 matches).
Melbourne City have good quality attacking line too, especially with J. McLaren upfront.

On the longer odds. We have Moss today and he is not a card ref. He is also inclined to let the game flow so I'm looking at the goals market especially as Liverpool have no defenders left. Alexander - Arnold takes some of the free kicks and did open his account for the season against Spurs. I'm going bet and a few beers on
