Three top players are missing due to Wimbledon's ban: Medvedev, Rublev and Khachanov.
Some players are high in the ranking, but they haven't achieved much on grass (Ruud, Tsitsipas), while others, like Hurkacz, are actually very good on grass.
Berrettini is not ranked very high, but last year he did very well at Wimbledon, and even now in the warm-up tournaments.
Same goes for the women's draw, where Kerber (former winner here) might make a comeback.
Haddad Maia played very well and won in Nottingham and Birmingham.
Halep is a former winner here and she has changed her coach recently to none other than Mouratoglou.
I put a few dollars on the following players:

Men:
Djokovic @1.80 - no bet
Berrettini @6.00
Nadal @8.00
Hurkacz @15.00
Aliassime @17.00

Women:
Swiatek @2.50 - no bet
Halep @17.00
Haddad Maia @21.00
Kerber @34.00

Good luck with your bets on this tournament!

Djokovic has had one exhibition match on grass since exiting the French Open and his year is looking crap as you need to be full of needle holes to play in the US Open - so a huge amount of pressure here with virtually no warm-ups. Berrettini has won twice on grass in Stuttgart(not a great field) and London. Hurkacz lost early a couple of weeks ago but won on grass in Halle against a quality field - Kyrgios running him very close in the quarters.

My first bet of the evening is a multiple.

Murray should take care of Duckworth.
Haddad Maia won the grass tournaments in Nottingham and Birmingham.

Bublik vs Fucsovics

Bublik leads the head-to-head series 3-1 (2-0 at the ATP level).
Bublik has advanced at least one round in all three of his grass-court events this month, including a quarterfinal effort in Eastbourne (lost to eventual champion Taylor Fritz).

Humbert has been poor this season and has lost three of his four grass court warm-ups including a loss to Monteiro last time out (Monteiro prefers clay). He has dropped out of the world top 100. Etcheverry is a clay courter but has won over 50 matches in the last year and a couple of titles. I think he gets a set here. Monteiro and Munar are reasonably evenly matched.

Alison Van Uytvanck v Emma Raducanu

It's about time that Raducanu showed that she is not a "one hit wonder” and that the title she won last year at the US Open was not a fluke.
She should be recharged, as she withdrew from her only match on grass this season at Nottingham. She would have had enough time to prepare for this. Last year she did well here.

Van Uytvanck has won 5 titles, none of them on grass. At Wimbledon she reached the third round once, in 2018.

Raducanu beat Van Uytvanck last year in Chicago, 7-6(7), 6-3.
She should do well here, in front of her home fans.

A few days ago the pair met for the first time in three years and Cirstea won 6-1, 6-1. She saved the lone breakpoint to defeat lucky loser Krunic in 72 minutes in the second round in Birmingham.

Cirstea has high expectations here, especially after her recent good results on grass, having beaten Shelby Rogers and Donna Vekic.
Also, she is very good on fast surfaces.

Should really stop adding a little odds-on pick to bump up my well researched bet - swine Monteiro.
Looking for an odds against match bet for the day and have settled on
Goffin v Albot.
Goffin has had one outing on grass this year which he lost to Medvedev. Last year he lost all his grass court matches. Albot has won 8 of his last 10 grass court matches in the past two months albeit not against top ranked players. He did take a set off Berrettini earlier this month though

Jolly decent of the ladies to oblige yesterday Quill.

Peniston v Laaksonen
Laaksonen has had a horrible 2022 and has lost both grass court matches this year without getting close to a set. Peniston has enjoyed a good grass court preparation beating Ruud and Rune already. I also expect a reasonbly large crowd to support the Brit.

Peniston -2.5 sets @ 12/10 (Taken like this as the 3-0 win is quoted at 9/10. No idea why)

Nadal goes for it when he plays, he doesn't "play games".

Roberto Bautista Agut warmed up for Wimbledon by reaching the quarterfinal in ATP Halle and finishing as the runner-up at home in Mallorca a few days ago. Both of his losses on grass this year were against the top-10 players Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
He is a former semifinalist at Wimbledon.

Ruud v Humbert
Difficult to call. Ruud won his first match here on Monday but Humbert is a much better grass court player and won Halle last year. His current form is rubbish but looking at some of the results we have had so far he could quite easily play a very good match. Not prepared to pick a winner here but a good Humbert wins well and a bad Humbert loses easily.

Both players had good warm up tournaments and obviously won their first round matches here.
Kalinina made the second round of 's-Hertogenbosch and the quarterfinal in Eastbourne, where she beat world no. 5 Maria Sakkari.

Tsurenko had a very good tournament at Eastbourne, where she was forced to withdraw from her biggest grass quarterfinal due to a right elbow injury.

I think we're going to have a long match between two Ukrainian players.

Djokovic vs Kokkinakis

Djokovic is just about the only one left to win the title here, after Hurkacz and Auger-Aliassime lost in the first round, and Cilic and Berrettini withdrew with COVID.
However, he didn't show much in the first round against Soonwoo Kwon, and moreover, he lost a set.

Kokkinakis is a talented player, who couldn't climb up in the rankings because of his injuries. In the first round here he beat Majchrzak in three sets, firing 17 aces.

Djokovic looked far from his menacing best and I think Kokkinakis, full of confidence after his very good year so far, can take a break from him.
I also think that the handicap of 8.5 is big for Kokkinakis and that this match will be long enough to cover the games total.

Djokovic owes me money from the first round, so here are my bets.

Schwartzman and Broady have faced each other once before, in the exact same round of Wimbledon last summer. The Argentine had little trouble winning it. Broady just barely scraped past L. Klein (world No. 243) in a five-setter in the first round.

Nadal vs Berankis

Nadal should treat his first-round scare as a wakeup call, he can be expected to improve dramatically now that he has a match under his belt.
Berankis does not have the necessary firepower to provide much resistance.

Fritz vs A. Green

A. Green, world no. 288, got a wild card here and struggled against Chun Hsin Tseng, who created more breakpoints in the match and could have won two out of three sets, but it just wasn't meant to be his day.
Fritz entered Wimbledon with plenty of confidence and momentum on his side, and he defeated the former Boys' Australian Open champion Lorenzo Musetti inside two hours in the first round. He fired 16 aces, conceded only four points on his first serves, and dictated the proceedings ever since he recovered from an early break deficit in the first set.

Kyrgios loves Wimbledon and he said that he is probably in the top 10 players on grass.

Tsitsipas struggled in the first round, but he is constantly improving on grass. He came to Wimbledon off a tournament win in Mallorca defeating a good grass court player, Bautista Agut.

Halep is playing great tennis and the influence of her coach Muratoglou shows.
She played a very consistent match in the first round against Muchova, whom she beat clearly, 6-3 6-2.

Halep didn't offer any break point to her opponent, she won 4 of the 9 break points, and that was against a player who reached the quarter-finals at the previous two Wimbledon tournaments.

Flipkens played against world no. 150, Jaimee Fourlis, won 7-5 6-2, losing her serve 3 times.

Halep leads 5-0. She won all those five meetings in convincing straight sets and dropped at most six games in four of those clashes.

Sinner vs Isner

In the previouos round we had a spirited, high-quality match between Murray and Isner. Murray tried his best to come back in front of the home crowd on Centre Court, but Isner held on for a 6-4 7-6 6-7 6-4 win.

We all know that Isner is good on grass. He went all the way to the Wimbledon semis in 2018, then lost a five-set marathon to Kevin Anderson. Even though he may no longer be in his prime at 37 years old, his serve remains as lethal as ever and continues to make him extremely dangerous every time he takes the court.

Sinner has advanced to this round with four-set wins over Stan Wawrinka and Mikael Ymer—his first-ever main-tour wins on grass, in fact. Only one thing is certain in this match: Isner will become the all-time ace leader at some point before it ends (he currently trails Ivo Karlovic by four). But he has a great chance to win it because he has a ton of momentum from the Murray match and Sinner is still inexperienced on this surface.

Alcaraz is a pretty big favorite, but I doubt he finishes this one quickly. He has played four grass-court matches in his entire career. Otte is 16-9 lifetime on the slick stuff, with seven of his wins coming this summer. That includes back-to-back semis in Germany (Stuttgart and Halle).
I think we'll have a long, competitive contest, in which both players will win a set.

Norrie vs Johnson

After Murray's exit, the Wimbledon crowd will focus on Norrie to progress to the next round.
This is not the best version of Steve Johnson, and Norrie won't be getting a much better opportunity to make his maiden round of 16 appearance in slams.

Fritz is coming off a title in Eastbourne and hasn’t dropped a set so far here. Molcan is more of a clay-courter, so another routine day at the office should be in store for Fritz.

De Minaur leads 1-0 (6-3 6-4 in Eastbourne 2021, Grass) and he should be able to advance.

Gasquet had to work hard against both Joao Sousa and Mackenzie McDonald, whereas Van de Zandschulp mostly cruised past Feliciano Lopez and Emil Ruusuvuori, dropping just one set.
Van de Zandschulp has been in great form dating back to the summer of 2021 and this is his fourth consecutive appearance in at least the third round of a Grand Slam. Now he has a golden opportunity to reach the Wimbledon second week for the first time.
