Thanks kt, super proud of him and delighted for the yard. Draw could have been kinder than 14 but Royal is suited to coming from off the pace so if Muzi can get a half decent position its down to whether he truly enjoys every yard of 2000m at Turffontein, Pete who's colours he runs in is convinced he will, if he is right then Royal can be a player.

Not the best but as you say will suit his style. Will hold thumbs for you and hopefully will make the July field next year if has a good run.

Congrats Chris, funny I like that draw of 14. Keep him away from the fighting for positions and as you said let him come from off the pace. Love that tactic and was amazing to see him finishing off the pace and winning last time out.

I see WSB have RV at 36s to win and 6.25 for a top 4 finish. Way over priced on both fronts and will be having some beers on each. Goodluck for the big day and hopefully u and the Mrs get to see the race live in JHB.

Race 1 - Twentytwentyvision @ 10/1 (HWB)
Last run was impressive, 3rd horse Call to Unite came out to win nicely during the week to strength form line. Also using Connery as a line horse, holds Stable Companion and Snaith horse. Cant get hurt at that price and will favour the places.

Race 2 - Claw @16/1
This is just a rule I have, if Millers have a horse in a race, and 2st timer, back it. LOL, stupid I know but there horses always seem to be ready, maybe with Azzie stable not, but will take my chances.
Some horses with decent form, of the run horses Lindbergh. Front runner and with good draw. Supposed to be tail win so thinking might be hard to catch.

Race 3 - See you in a Bit @ 16/1 & Cosmic Energy @ 30/1
Fav on form looks hard to beat, but See you in a bit last run was decent and running on nicely. Stable comment very positive and worth a go. Draw a concern but just outside fav.
Cosmic Energy - Based on stable comment, and full sister to Cosmic Highway who is above average.
Will take swingers with fav.

Race 4 - Miss Greenlight @ 15/2 (WSB)
Old knocker coming up againest some smart 3 year olds. Waiting to closer to the start where hopefully will get 10's

Race 5 - very open race, my fancy is Sachdev, and old fav but no confidence.
Field for Pick 6

Race 6 - Royal Invitation @ 8/1 & Secret Identity @ 25/2

Race 7 - Nevada King @ 12/1

Race 1 - El Draque @ 7/1 & Wissas on Fire @ 14/1
El Draque - Gets the appie claim, which means should hold fav on weight turn around. Nothing special but on the right side and weighted to place.
WOF - Nicely bred and both siblings won 1st time out. Drawn the wrong side but maybe for places.

I always believe these days, if the big boys leave a horse up in KZN, be it a first timer or proven, means that they not that great with all the money in the WC these days all there decent horses are sent down for summer season. Always a concern for me with bigger yards like Kannemeyer, Muscatt and Van Zyl.

Race 2 - Canadian Summer @ 28/10
Yes out at the MR but likes this trip. Only concern is 1st time at Scottsville.

Race 4 - Nelson Bay @ 10/1
One i have followed and think a decent KZN sort. Same with stable companion. Both weighted to places.
