Windies v SA 1st Test

Looks like there is going to be some rain interruption but locals expect there to be enough good weather for 400 overs. Conrad says the pitch has no grass so expecting a slow turner and the Windies will probably field two spinners. Mulder does not do it for me as a front line bowler and Ngidi just never looks fully fit. This means I'm joining Shaft on the Windies.

SA haven't played a test since February and that wasn't even the players who normally play test cricket for SA. Windies have played recently against England and although they lost all 3 tests I think they will be more match sharp than SA. The two XI's are much closer than the betting suggest and although there is rain predicted, the way teams play these days very few tests go the distance anyway. That SA bowling lineup looks very light imo. Also think Maharaj will have to do a lot of bowling so have taken some 3/1 on him to be top SA 1st innings bowler.

I like Joshua Da Silva as top bat for WIndies at 7/1 - been in decent touch of late.

Very hard to argue against Beddingham but I like having Rickleton back in the line-up and will take him to be the SA player with the most sixes in the 1st innings at 11/1.
