Just a quick heads up, if anyone is new to the NFL and following the topics suggested bets throughout the season, please stake wisely. Unlike other sports like Rugby or Soccer, the NFL is much harder to predict.
For money line bets, remember a team has 3 different set of players (offense, defense and special teams). All it takes is one set of players to have a bad game and you are in trouble, irrespective of how good the other set of players do. Main reason why you see even 2/10 prematch teams struggling and games running close.
Also for player props, keep in mind that if a player goes off injured your bet will lose, doesn't matter its early in the game or not. Also, these NFL teams and management are crazy at times, one game a player can get targeted 10+ times while the next game he doesn't get the ball at all.
Anyway, enough of the ramblings, good luck to everyone betting this season and please share whatever bets you have for Week 1.

My strategy in CFB has been to follow about 15 teams and delve abit more into conference rivalries, seedings (as this plays a big part towards the end of the season in terms of playoffs eligibility) and obviously the marquee games every week. In NFL I get involved in every game, I like the player props as I've noticed they can be very profitable.
First bet that I have placed so far is in the game between Minnesota Vikings and NY Giants:
Will Reichard (Vikings kicker) over 6.5 kicking points @1.9 on bet 365
Expecting a defensive game between these two, hence the low point total and the Vikings kicker has a pretty good range, they use him alot when they can't get the necessary downs to try for a touchdown. Asking for two field goals to make it six and a converted touchdown here. I wouldn't be surprised if they go for alot of field goals as both teams cannot 'move the chains' alot.
Hope to get some CFB and more NFL bets and looking forward to a profitable season for those that bet the sport.

Thursday Night Football (Fri 02:20am)
Chiefs vs Ravens
Revenge game for Ravens after Chiefs knocked them out in the AFC Championship game last season.
Ravens made a big RB signing in Derrick Henry but I still expect QB Lamar Jackson to use his legs. Chiefs have been vulnerable against opposing QBs who can run and I expect Jackson to have a big game tonight with big plays on the ground and in the air.
Taking an alt line bet builder at Sunbet:
Lamar Jackson 200+ Passing Yards & 40+ Rushing Yards @ 13/10

Friday night/Saturday morning game in Brazil
Philadelphia Eagles vs Green Bay Packers
Eagles completely fell off towards the end of the season losing 5/6 last games after a convincing run. For the first time in a while Eagles now have an offensive line that can actually block and they are ranked 2nd in the league, they acquired Saquon Barkley from the Giants, where the offensive line was bottom 5 in the league. Packers struggled against the rush last year and the defensive line is not good. Eagles paid a boat load of money to acquire him and he will be the number 2 option after the QB who can also rush.
My best bet on this game :
Saquon Barkley over 63.5 rushing yards @1.9 on bet365

CFB Sunday
Shedeur Sanders (Colorado) over 314.5 passing yards @1.86 on bet 365:
Son of the legendary cornerback Deion Sanders, arguably the best ever in his position, playing at Quaterback against a very porous team in Nebraska that cant cover the pass. And the Dad is the coach who knows all about defense. I can see him getting over 350 passing yards here.
Ashton Jeanty (Boise State) Any time touchdown @1.9 on bet365
Boise state has no QB/passing offense, they will run the ball the whole game and their best opportunity to get a touchdown is through their running back
Back with NFL bets later. If you don't have college football props let me know, I'll try and get better bets.
