I got this game horribly wrong. Glad I didn't go big on it.

Have taken Sharks over 36.5 totals points on WSB in running.

I originally fancied the Blues chances in this, took some +12 earlier in the week, plus a small go at the win @ 5
They're on a great winning streak and I think the score in the recent reverse fixture flattered the Cheetahs a bit (2 tries from charge downs).
Connacht pushed the Cheetahs all the way recently & you'd have to say the Blues are a better outfit than them.

Clearly the above travel issues will have a big impact on them and their prep. On top of this bit surprised to see Anscombe at Flyhalf over Jarrod Evans, who has been superb.

So have probably done my dough!!

I'm with you on the Blue's plus , not sure all this messing around should affect them so much , talking from the pocket of course , Cheetahs have been very hot and cold and still believe this Blues side will push them all the way .

Had to lay down a bet this morning before I left the house , couldn't male up my mind but ended up on Shark's under 21.5 .... second week in a row where I was left with a plate full of egg all over my face ! Grr could't they have at least won for the conference betting .

Nevertheless I'm finding this week very hard to call and initially really fancied the Waratahs on the minus , no Israel though has me a little worried as he normally creates the spark and momentum if the Tah's show their bad side. The Wolves though appear to play their worst rugby at home and I'll end up sticking with the Tah's.

Looking to take them on the ht and ft cap's.

I loved the Oracle's chuckling over the Chiefs handicap whilst watching his video snips and do understand his thinking, however this Blue's side is such a brass. I'll be looking to go against the logic and sound thinking and feel the Blues will go close against their fellow kin.

The Brumbies are awful and the Reds have shown some ball's this year. A really tough game to call and I made it a choice game , the plus would obviously be the value you would think but I have a feeling the Brumbies will win this one .

The Stormers for me are the best bet of the weekend and I hope the discipline will remain intact until kick off as this will be a maximum bet .

Finally the Jag's get a chance to play for some consistency , it does point to a high scoring match and that's prob where I'll be aiming .

No news at the moment but gutted I missed the -9 early this week
Botia is injured for La Rochelle which is a big blow and still without a proper 10 (Sinzelle doing OK but clearly he is not a Fly Half) .
On top of that Montpellier rested last week end while LR played the CCup and Montpellier at home have been so far, apart from Bordeaux, destroying any team coming there so I would suggest to take the -12 but not a huge stake

I went with the same. Not feeling very confident though.

Reds getting absolutely smashed and pretty much stopped playing after the yellow card in the 1st half. Couldn't imagine the Brumbies running out such comfortable winners after looking like they couldn't score a try for toffee against the Tah's last week

Definitely feel that Lions v Stormers is the hardest game to call this weekend. Leaning towards the + what with it being a SA Derby and looking at how the Sharks fared in the opening game against the Lions in the competition

What are other peoples thoughts/opinions on this game?

I'm on the Stormers +7.5. Placed the bet with last year's Currie Cup firmly in the memory.
