RUGBY WORLD CUP
There are two Rugby World Cup matches on Thursday, the first of which features Italy against Canada at 09:45 South African time. Italy played Namibia in their opening match winning by 25 points which is pretty close to where the bookmakers had set the line.

England take on the USA at 12:45 South African time and although they were not spectacular in their opener against Tonga they had few problems securing the bonus point win. There has been some support for the USA on the handicap and it has shortened from (+38.5) to (+34.5) during the week. There is La Liga and Serie A action on Thursday night and in La Liga the televised games include Eibar v Sevilla and Sociedad v Alaves.

The European Tour continues with the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship where Rory Mcilroy is trading as a 6/1 favourite. There are a couple of South Africans towards the top of the betting boards including Erik van Rooyen at 35/1 and Christiaan Bezuidenhout at 60/1.

The PGA Championship continues with the Safeway Open where Justin Thomas is an 8/1 favourite ahead of the consistent Patrick Cantlay who is 12/1. Bryson Dechambeau should have his supporters this week at 25/1 and amongst the roughies that catch the eye is Lucas Glover currently priced at 50/1 a win and 10/1 a Top 5.

HORSERACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Vaal Racetrack on Thursday with the first race off at 12:10 and the 8th and final race at 16:20.
The card has a very open look to it and finding a Pick Six Banker will be tough and we think it may pay to wait until the 7th and the penultimate leg of the Pick Six where Horse No. 1, Destinys Game is currently a 2/1 favourite.
