BettingDiaryThere is plenty of sporting action for punters on Monday including AFCON 2019 where Bafana Bafana are in action against Morocco.  The Cricket World Cup continues with the West Indies playing Sri Lanka and tennis punters have two weeks of grass court action at Wimbledon to look forward to.

AFCON 2019

In Group C Algeria and Senegal should book their places in the last 16 with Senegal 5/10 favourites to beat Kenya and Algeria 7/20 to see off Tanzania. Click here for betting on all AFCON matches.

South Africans will have plenty of interest in Group D where Bafana Bafana play against leaders Morocco.  Morocco have won both their fixtures and Bafana Bafana kept themselves in the Tournament with a 1-0 win over Namibia last time out.  Morocco are favourites to win the game at 11/10 with South Africa 59/20 and the draw quoted at 41/20. Ivory Coast currently sit 2nd on the table level on points with Bafana and they are 3/10 favourites to beat Namibia in the other match in the Group.

CRICKET WORLD CUP

Sri Lanka take on the West Indies on Monday and while still in with a mathematical chance of progressing, their loss to South Africa last week probably ended their chances.  The West Indies have promised much, but delivered little in this Tournament and they are favourites to win this game at 5/10 with Sri Lanka on offer at 33/20. TENNIS - WIMBLEDON

Wimbledon gets going on Monday and Novak Djokovic is the favourite at 13/10 ahead of Roger Federer at 27/10 and Rafael Nadal at 23/4.  You can get 17/1 and better the balance.  As is often the case in the early stages of the Tournament, many of the games on Monday are priced up as one-sided betting heats and a popular choice of punters will be to take 5 or 6 of them in a multiple. The women’s side of the draw looks wide open with Ashleigh Barty an 11/2 favourite ahead of Karolina Pliskova at 25/4.  Veteran Serena Williams is 15/2 with Angelique Kerber 31/4, the only other lady quoted in single figures. Click here for the ladies outright betting.

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing comes from Flamingo Park on Monday, but punters will be gearing towards the big event of the week being the Vodacom Durban July taking place at Greyville on Saturday.  You can click here to access Horse Racing betting from around the world and for the latest Durban July betting click here where favourite Hawwaam is currently priced at 21/10 ahead of last year’s winner, Do It Again at 5/1, Rainbow Bridge 13/2 and Barahin at 7/1.  Look out for our race preview coming later in the week.

SUPER RUGBY UPDATE

The Jaguares were too strong for the Brumbies on the weekend and they booked their place in the final against the Crusaders in Christchurch with the Crusaders overcoming the Hurricanes by 4 points in a thrilling encounter.  World Sports Betting was amongst the first of the bookmakers to price up on the final with the opening line 13.5 points Crusaders favourite.
