BettingDiaryThere is live English Premier League Football and Mitre10 Cup Rugby for punters to get involved in on Friday and we take a look at some of the options ahead of what promises to be a very busy weekend.

ASTON VILLA V EVERTON

Aston Villa have had a shaky start to their return to the EPL losing away at Tottenham and at home to Bournemouth. On each occasion both teams found the net and there were over 2.5 goals. They face an undefeated Everton side with Everton having drawn away to Palace and beaten Watford 1-0 at home. There has been only 1 goal in total in Everton’s two matches.

Aston Villa are currently 43/20 with the draw 51/20 and Everton the favourites at 5/4. Given Everton’s struggles in front of goal, We think Villa can grab their first point of the season here and the draw is our play at 51/20.

RUGBY

In the Mitre10 Cup Fridays televised game is Wellington against Canterbury and Super Rugby fans may be surprised to know that both teams are still looking for their first victory, although Wellington did get a draw last week. That is because the All Black players are not available and this will be a crucial match for both sides.

Wellington are currently the underdogs at 13/10 with Canterbury 13/20 and the draw on offer at 22/1.

The Mitre10 Cup has thrown up some high scoring games and we fancy over 52.5 points at 9/10.
