IRELAND v WALES – Click here to bet
This match takes place in Dublin and Ireland go in as firm favourites. Ireland finished 3rd in the Six Nations and although they went into the final match against France with a mathematical chance of taking the title, they ended up losing by 8 points in Paris.
Wales could only win 1 of their 5 Six Nations matches and their last game was a 14-10 home defeat to the Scots.
Irelands last 2 matches against the Welsh at home have been 10 point victories and that is pretty much where this week’s handicap is set.
BETTING
Ireland 2/7
Draw 28/1
Wales 33/10
Handicap: Ireland (-9.5) at 9/10, Wales (+9.5) at 9/10
Suggested Bet: Winning Margin, Ireland under 12.5 points at 18/10
These sides historically play in tight low scoring fixtures and I think Ireland will win this but hopefully by less than 13 points.
ITALY v SCOTLAND – Click here to bet
Italy are still battling to compete in the Six Nations and they lost all 5 games again including a 33 point loss to Ireland in Dublin followed by a 29 point loss to England at home. They face a Scottish side coming off a 14-10 home win over Wales, a result which saw them finish 4th in the Six Nations with 3 wins and 2 losses.
BETTING
Italy 4/1
Draw 33/1
Scotland 2/9
Handicap: Italy (+10.5) at 9/10, Scotland (-10.5) at 9/10
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Scotland (-10.5) at 9/10
Italy have been a bit hit and miss against Scotland at home and although they lost the last encounter 17-0 they would have beaten the handicap on the previous occasion when they lost by just 2 points. Scotland though look to be on the up and I am backing them to win by 10 points or more.
ENGLAND v GEORGIA – Click here to bet
England are coming off a 34-5 win over Italy in Rome which was enough to see them take the Six Nations Title. They face a Georgia team who will relish the opportunity to play against the big boys as they have been talking for a long time about replacing Italy in the Six Nations. They didn’t look too impressive in a big defeat against Scotland a few weeks ago and this Handicap continues to push out and has now reached the 40 point level.
BETTING
England 1/100
Draw 100/1
Georgia 50/1
Handicap: England (-40.5) at 9/10, Georgia (+40.5) at 9/10
Suggested Bet: Handicap, England (-40.5) at 9/10
I just can’t see this Georgia outfit living with England and with competition hot in the English squad when it comes to selection I can see the players keeping their foot on the pedal.
