BettingDiaryWe will know our first two semi-finalists after Tuesday night’s Champions League, quarter-finals 2nd leg action and we suggest a bet in each game.

Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting where Manchester City are trading at 2/1 favourites with Bayern Munich 4/1, Real Madrid and Chelsea 11/2, you can get 8/1 PSG and 14/1 and better the balance.

Other long-term markets on offer include Top Goal Scorer and Name the Finalists where Chelsea v Manchester City is trading as a 43/20 favourite.

CHELSEA v PORTO – Click here to bet

Chelsea took a massive step towards semi-final qualification when they beat Porto 2-0 on the road last week.

They are undefeated at home in the Champions League this season although their two worst results, being draws, have actually occurred at home in the group stages. Chelsea were also in cracking form on the weekend in the domestic League beating Crystal Palace 4-1 on the road.

Porto had great hopes heading into the quarter-final with knocking Juventus out in the last 16, but Chelsea were too good for them in the first leg. They had some good results away from home in the group stages, but in their only trip to England lost 3-1 at Manchester City. Porto are going well domestically and have won their last 5 League matches.

BETTING

Chelsea 17/20

Draw 27/10

Porto 67/20

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, NO, at 9/10

Chelsea’s defence has been very hard to breech of late and although I expect Porto to throw everything at them, I think that they can repeat what they did against Atletico Madrid and keep two clean sheets in a row.

Although the price is a bit shorter I do prefer this bet to the Chelsea Clean Sheet, YES, which is currently priced at 29/20.

PSG v BAYERN MUNICH – Click here to bet

The first leg was everything we expected it to be in terms of goal mouth action with PSG coming out on top 3-2 at Bayern Munich. It was the 5th successive European game that both teams have found the net in PSG matches and 4 of the last 5 PSG matches in Europe have had 4 goals or more in them.

Despite being on the road, Bayern Munich are starting favourites with the bookmakers for this encounter and in previous away matches in Europe this season they have won 3 and drawn 1.

There have also been plenty of goals in Bayern Munich matches with their last 3 games all delivering profits for over 2.5 goal backers and 2 of those 3 games reached the 5 goal mark.

BETTING

PSG 19/10

Draw 61/20

Bayern Munich 5/4

Suggested Bet: First Half, Correct Score 0-0 at 57/20

The way the Total Goals Markets are priced up bookmakers are expecting an avalanche of goals and while it might come at some point I actually think we might have a tight game early on as PSG look to stop Bayern Munich getting amongst the away goals. I am taking just over 2.5/1 that we reach the half-time mark without a goal.
