We take a look at Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final 1st leg matches and suggest a bet in each of them.

Bayern Munich had no problem in seeing off Lazio 6-2 on aggregate in the last 16. They took a comfortable 4-1 lead into their home match which they edged 2-1. They won all 3 of their home matches in the group stages and so far in Europe both teams have scored in Bayern Munich matches in 6 of their 8 games.
They are in good form domestically winning their last 5 League games including beating RB Leipzig 1-0 on the road this past weekend.
PSG did the damage against Barcelona in the first leg of their last 16 match winning 4-1 in Spain before the sides drew 1-1 in PSG’s home match. In the group stages they won 2 and lost 1 of their home games and both teams have found the back of the net in 6 of the PSG Champions League fixtures this season.

I did look at the Both Teams to Score Market where I was hoping for something like 7/10 that they would both find the net, but the bookies are onto me here and it is priced at 9/20. Overall I think Bayern Munich are the better side and they can get off to a winning start in this tie.
FC PORTO v CHELSEA – Click here to bet
Porto required extra time to beat Juventus in the last 16 after both matches finished 2-1 to the home team. Looking at their group record at home they drew 1 and won 2 and they never conceded a goal at home in the group stages.
Porto are going well in their domestic League and have won their last 3 matches and most recently beat Santa Clara 2-1 at home on the weekend.
Chelsea beat Atletico Madrid 3-0 on aggregate in their last 16 match and they also had a superb away record in the group stages winning all 3 of their games including an impressive 4-0 win over Sevilla.
Chelsea were dealt a shock defeat in the League on the weekend losing 5-2 at home to relegation threatened West Brom and that was their first defeat since mid-January.

Chelsea are odds on favourites here and while they have being playing some great football (the West Brom game aside) Porto are also in good nick and I think a share of the spoils is as likely an outcome as any here.
