SATURDAY
AMAZULU v KAIZER CHIEFS
AmaZulu haven't been able to replicate the form they showed in the latter half of last season, but they have only lost 1 of their opening 5 games and sit 7th on the table. They also got their first victory last time out, beating Baroka 1-0 at home and that broke a 3 match run of draws.
For Kaizer Chiefs it has been more the same this season and another battle to make the Top 8 seems to be on the cards. They have only taken 5 points from their opening 5 games with just 1 victory and last time out played to a goalless draw at Marumo Gallants and that on the back of a 4-1 home defeat against Royal AM.
Last season the away team won by exactly a goal in both matches.

AmaZulu win at 18/10
Draw 19/10
Kaizer Chiefs 18/10
Suggested Bet: AmaZulu win at 18/10
Kaizer Chiefs continue to get shown too much respect by the bookmakers and I cannot justify these sides being level in the betting the way Chiefs have performed of late.
CAPE TOWN CITY v ORLANDO PIRATES
Cape Town City are 11th on the table having taken 5 points from their opening 4 matches. Last time out they played a goalless draw away at Swallows and their last home game was a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Stellenbosch and they haven't scored a goal in either of their two home games this season playing a goalless draw against SuperSport United in their first match of the season.
Orlando Pirates are 5th on the table, 5 points behind Mamelodi Sundowns and they lost their first game last time out to Sundowns 2-0 at home. They have played two away games this season, beating Chippa United 3-1 and played to a goalless draw at Marumo Gallants.
This fixture was drawn 2-2 last season and that has been a popular score line between the sides in recent years with 3 of their last 6 games finishing 2-2.

Cape Town City 11/4
Draw 21/10
Orlando Pirates 12/10
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 13/10
These sides have thrown up some high scoring fixtures over the years, but I must admit that this is hard to justify other than I think it is a decent price.
The other bet I considered here was the draw at 2/1 and perhaps we are in for another 2-2 finish.
SUNDAY
MAMELODI SUNDOWNS v SWALLOWS
Sundowns are top of the table with 4 wins and a draw in their opening 5 matches. They beat Pirates 2-0 on the road last time out and they have scored 8 goals this season and have yet to concede. They were also in the MTN8 Cup action in midweek, hammering Golden Arrows 3-0 at home.
Swallows are battling this season and currently sit 12th on the log with just 1 win in 5 games. Last time out they drew 0-0 at home to Cape Town City, the side which then beat them in the MTN8 Cup semi-final, second leg on Wednesday with an emphatic 4-0 score line. Swallows games have been low scoring averaging just a goal each and Swallows have only scored 1 and conceded 4 in their 5 matches.
Last season this fixture was drawn 1-1 with the reverse fixture finishing goalless in a season where Swallows were the draw specialists of the PSL.

Mamelodi Sundowns 7/10
Draw 5/2
Swallows 5/1
Suggested Bet: Goals Away Team = 0 at 1/1
Sundowns defence has been rock solid and I am backing them to keep another clean sheet against a side really battling to find the net.
