There are two DSTV Premiership matches taking place on Tuesday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.

Chippa United are languishing in the relegation zone in 15th spot and they are on a terrible run that has seen them gone 9 matches without a win in the League. Last time out they went down 2-1 at home to Mamelodi Sundowns and prior to that were hammered 5-1 away from home at Maritzburg. This will be their 10th home match this season and they have won 1 and drawn 4 of the previous 9.
Chippa did at least book their spot in the Nedbank Cup Final with a 1-0 win against Pretoria Callies on the weekend.
Baroka are 11th on the table and although they have only won 1 of their last 10 matches they have drawn 4 of their last 5 including coming from behind to get at 1-1 home draw against Chiefs last time out. They have won 2 and drawn 5 of 10 away matches this season.

Baroka won the reverse fixture 2-1, but given how many matches they have drawn of late and the fact that I don’t expect much between these sides, I think the draw is the best option available.
BLOEM CELTIC v SWALLOWS
Celtic are 10th on the table with 5 wins in 22 starts this season. They are undefeated in their last 4 with 3 draws and 1 win and most recently drew 1-1 away at Golden Arrows. Both teams have found the back of the net in Bloem Celtic’s last 4 Premiership matches.
Celtic have only lost once at home in 11 matches this season with 5 wins and 5 draws and their home games have been low scoring averaging just 1.9 goals each with just 2 of the 11 matches delivering profits for those backing over 2.5 goals.
Swallows are 5th on the table and have only lost 1 match all season. They have though had 12 draws in their 21 games and they have drawn 7 of their last 9 matches. They did get back on the winning trail last time out though beating Black Leopards 1-0 at home and both teams have found the back of the net in 7 out of Swallows last 9 games. Swallows have battled at home of late with 4 draws and a loss in their last 5 games.

The draw certainly looks a lively run in this match as well and once again I don’t see much between the teams.
The bet I fancy though is both teams to score as this has been prevalent in both sets of recent matches.
