The Leopards began their campaign with a 2-0 away defeat at SuperSport on the weekend, having gone 1-0 down in the 25^th minute they managed to stay in the game until SuperSport put the final nail in the coffin deep into injury time.

Baroka were only one of three teams to win their opening fixture and they beat Maritzburg United 2-1 at home on Saturday. They went 2-0 ahead in the 57^th minute before an 85^th minute goal from Maritzburg had them nervously holding on for the win.

Baroka did the double over Black Leopards winning both fixtures 2-0.

This does look as if it is going to be a close game as the betting suggests, but I have a slight leaning towards Baroka who won their last 3 matches against Leopards in all competitions.

CHIPPA UNITED v KAIZER CHIEFS – Click here to bet

Chippa United drew their opening fixture 1-1 away at Cape Town City. They trailed at half-time, but levelled things up in their 53^rd minute before holding on for a valuable point on the road.

Much is expected of Kaizer Chiefs under new manager, Gavin Hunt and they played Sundowns on the weekend, a match which had an edge to it as Sundowns had just pipped Chiefs to the Title last season. It was one way traffic though with Sundowns winning 3-0, going ahead in the 37th minute and never looking back.

Kaizer Chiefs did the double over Chippa United last season winning this fixture 2-0 and the home leg 1-0. In 8 of the 9 fixtures between these sides in all competitions both teams have managed to score only once.

I don’t have any strong feelings about the match result and if anything, can suggest Chippa can get something out of this and the 2-3 goals aggregate bet always provides a nice interest.
